This place is quite misogynist to women who get breast implants. it is THEIR BODY... not yours. Dana will make more money if she gets them, that is none of your business. And bazillions of men and women are happy if someone is natural or has enhancements.. they don't go on a witch hunt when someone wants do that to THEIR BODY. ^^ I don't know that misogynist is quite the right word, but there are a lot of people here who think they know better than a performer that's been around for a decade what would or wouldn't help her career.
Performers count on fans becoming attached to them, then seem to get shocked and or offended when they do something that the fan does not like and the fan states that. Dana has not done this, there's no indication that she will. I hope Dana gets what she wants and is happy about it, but I won't be following her anymore or supporting her. This , of course, won't mean shit to her, but it seems to me you can't really expect a positive reaction all the time. It is true you can't please everyone, however to think that a part of the support your field of work relies on to be successful won't be upset that you alter what they like would be very shortsighted. No, Dana doesn't owe us shit, we chose to support her willingly. That doesn't mean I signed up for a career. If she is doing it to feel better about herself, more power to her.
I had no idea there were so many anti-implant Dana fans on the forum. Where were you all prior to this announcement? I'm not sure it will be a crushing blow to Dana's career if you guys stop requesting her for scenes considering none of you were requesting her before.

Saying that a woman is perfect as she is does not seem misogynistic to me. Saying that she's imperfect unless she has big boobs seems more so. Of course Dana's body is her body, and of course she has the right to do whatever she wants with it. Expressing an aesthetic preference for Dana's current looks does not conflict with that truism.

I didn't say that at all. I said I hope she gets what she wants but I won't be along for the ride. Regarding your last sentence, I was planning on doing just that. Interesting that a contrary opinion is now seen as a negative instead of a point to further the discussion. Does anyone else find an interesting parallel between this and steroids in sports? I'd say yes. With some guys like that it's outright a delusional "I love all 'my' porn girls, but in return for my love I deserve to call the shots on their careers" attitude, and when that collides with reality, they throw childish temper tantrums about how stupid the girls must be. So now, I'm kind of confused. The use of word like "joke" and "satire" make me think that Dana isn't actually going to go through with getting the fake boobs. Was this all a kind of prank to make fun of how the porn industry treats more mature performers? Or is it Dana's genuine intent to get implants but she's just presenting it in a jokey way? Because that's how I've been interpreting it from the beginning. Sorry for being a little dense but can someone spell it out for me? Regardless, Dana should do what's best for her career.

Calling something a satire evokes the idea that it's a put-on. For example, Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal satirized the English class system by saying the English should eat poor children. He wasn't actually advocating going through with it. Similarly calling it a joke sounds like they're not being serious. I didn't think Asa and Dan we're going to steal anything, I was just confused as to what was actually going on. But Dana clarified it for me when she told me to watch the video. It is a joke (to her), but she is going through with it. And as for whether I like it or not, if you go back through this thread you'll see I support Dana's decision. Don't lump me in with the other guys just because I can be a little slow on the uptake sometimes.Holy crap Cindy, are you a Babylon 5 fan?!

I was wondering if anyone would notice that. Hey , the Vorlons were assholes as it turns out, but that was one of the best quotes from the series. I have used it over and over again in life.
What slays me is this notion that MILF means implants. How did we get to that point? Granted, the majority of women in "MILF" titles have implants (which is why I find nearly all such scenes unwatchable, save for the occasional India Summer, Bianca Breeze, Ashley Fires, or a handful of other women who have opted to stay natural, or, of course, Dana until sometime later this year). But a defining characteristic? I'm picturing producers saying, "No, an attractive 30-something won't do. Find me someone with cartoonish tits or it's not believable." Personally, I'd rather be seduced by the attractive 30-something, but I'm clearly not the target audience. Makes me think back to all the perfectly attractive young women who would get implants because the conventional wisdom was they'd make more money on the dance circuit. (Is that still a thing?) You attract one audience and lose another, and hopefully the former is bigger. Anyway, I'll be sad to see Dana go. Her natural beauty has been a breath of fresh air for the last decade. But it's her decision, I'm sure she's put a lot of thought into it, and I wish her well. I hope it works out as she plans.

Maybe it is some deep rooted issue about fantasizing about mom's breasts or something, who knows. So, you can get out your pitchforks and torches all you want; you can't change the reality that people love their big boobs with "older" porn women. There aren't enough people on ADT to make a monumental shift in this and attacking the performer or begging her not to do it , is really a weak and disrespectful way to go.
Yes, but all of the MILF performers whom you've described had implants when they started their careers. Other than Amber Lynn, I can't think of one who got a boob job after ten years in the business.
Monique Alexander comes to mind, although of course her career pre-implants had a much different course than Dana DeArmond's.
