I was watching some XXX from my collection. Came across Olivia Nova. Forgot about her. for the past almost 2 years...since her passing. then I recalled the first quarter of 2018 and how 4 big name XXX stars passed away mysteriously. August Ames (show name), Shyla Styles, Bertrand, and Olivia Nova. Then I decided Google the cause of death for ON. It's a grey area. Nothing definite. They thought she had a UTI (urinary tract infection) that became serious...turned into "Sepsis" (didn't Google that). What struck me as odd was she was found naked from the waist down. Bruising on her legs. Yet the articles said foul play wasn't suspected. Yet how did they explain the bruising?? They didn't. It's sad. More for Olivia Nova as she was only in the BIz for 8 months. She was "talented" and a beautiful girl. Natural. Im pretty sure the same thing that happens to mainstream movie stars that "mysteriouslY" pass away (or singers like Whitney Houston...found naked on floor of Beverly Hills Hotel bathroom). Why else do other XXX stars live decades. Stars from the 70's and 80's like Ginger Lynn. The vast majority of us only see a tiny portion of our favorite performers life and all the stuff that happens outside of that window is unknown to us. That window tends to get wider when a performer dies because we get to find out things that were part of the unknown. How a performer dies is one of those things that as a rule I think most fans should avoid digging into because they may find things that affect what they think of their favorite and ultimately those things are still only a small portion of the available info to fans. if you liked the work a performer did when she was alive than enjoy it and leave all the personal stuff on the side. Her death certificate says infection (sepsis)+alcohol. Dying of infection+alcohol is not at all unusual, and the two are often connected (you're at higher risk of serious infection if you drink too much and you're typically also slower to respond, e.g. go to the emergency room, if you're drunk). Dying while fully or half naked is common, especially people that die in their own home and even more so people that live alone. I have bruising on my legs right now. Probably randomly bumped into something but IDK. When I was partying a lot in my late teens/early 20s, I had random bruises all the time. If you drink, you also bruise more easily because of the way alcohol affects the blood vessels and liver. A high percentage of the world's population have random bruises right now. A high percentage of people that die will have some random bruises. When a young person dies, unless the reason is obvious (e.g. cancer), it's standard for the police to review it. In most cases, just as Nova's, they find nothing indicating foul play. Her case was tragic, but--except for the fact that she was a porn star--not unusual or mysterious. The gossip press always tries make something out of nothing. The majority of highly published porn star deaths in recent years have been tragic but not peculiar or unresolved. There are exceptions and cases where major questions remain, but they're a minority. [Link]

Whitney Houston's death was hardly mysterious as heart disease is no stranger to sustained cocaine use. As roynie alluded to on Olivia Nova, sepsis is brutal, much more common than people realize and often not diagnosed until it's too late. Alcohol consumption is usually a big hindrance with acute ailments and contributes towards chronic ones. I'm curious why the OP hasn't mentioned the "27 Club" not put forward a narrative of its members not "playing ball". This topic started off like that old scumbag tabloid adage of not letting the truth getting in the way of a good story. [Link]

I know some will say that suicide is also fairly common but how many of those people were known to be drug and alcohol abusers? [Link]
