Nu Tech actually stopped distributing Debbie Does Dallas some time ago so that version may be difficult to find.

apparantly, the general manager of VCX wants to sue anyone who is still selling the NuTech version. this is the first of many threatening emails i received from VCX
actually there were previous emails where i explained that we don't sell anything. he doesn't seem to care. people sure love to threaten us with lawsuits.

This isn't the first time I've heard of NuTech doing this. I've heard they're not supposed to be releasing a few of their anime titles also because somebody else holds the copyright to them.

On the other hand, I can't say that I'm that impressed with VCX's apparent intelligence level. To write threatening e-mails to a website telling them not to sell something or they'll sue when the website doesn't sell DVDs is rather amusing to me. It also clarifies a bit why the job they do on their DVDs seems very mediocre.

VCX should spend more time improving their crappy DVD transfers and treating their catalog of movies properly than threatening others with litigation.

NuTech has consistenly produced excellent DVDs, and VCX could learn a thing or two about quality products.

VCX (in my opinion) doesn't know the first thing about producing a quality product. They are just mining the relics of past glory inthe jizzbizz.
