To be perfectly honest I wish you wouldn't do it. I've seen that show a few times and it truly is a big circus and it only gets worse depending on the topic. The audience I think is not there for a frank discussion on what ever "issue" Jerry has on tap, no it's to watch grown people do very foolish things so they can laugh. I'm all for you being proud and happy with what you're doing now but I don't think the Jerry Springer show is the place you want to go and promote that, that is if you want a truly honest discussion rather than the 3-Ring circus that show is. I make no judgements beyond that, I'd just hate for you to go on there in good faith and then get totally screwed over by him and the crowd. Just my 2cents.

It seems strange that Jerry Springer wants you to go on his show without someone lined up for you to curse and catfight with and chase down the back alleys of the studio with several large sweaty bald men in slow pursuit.
Perhaps they are just hoping that you will wear a short dress with no panties and a top prone to slippage - annoying pixellation to be inserted afterwards.
bono brings up a good point. I personally love Springer but I would deserve to get what I get knowing what the show is about and ultimately gonna do, if I were to go on there. Enter at your own risk on Jerry. But dont be surprised if us posters are in a position where, we told you so . Love ya D.
I won't go on either. But Springer that takes the cake I wouldn't go on there ever they even offered me a huge amount of money and I still wouldn't lower myself to such classless realm of people. As I feel I've tried to make a difference for women in this business not to make a joke of them. But I wouldn't expect anything else from my white trash mother.

Go for it. People are too hard on Jerry, it's not his fault that some of his guests behave badly. You can buck that trend. By comporting yourself with dignity, this would be a great chance for you to broaden your exposure and build your fanbase. You have to grab such opportunities when they come along.
I can't see much use in going on Springer. Stern however, is great entertainment. But don't talk about any conflict there, the media knows how to use that, and that will not be a good thing. I hope you can work this out.

If you do it, no matter what Jerry asks you, just keep saying, over and over again, "you paid a hooker with a personal check? While you were a city councilman? What are you, a fucking idiot?"
you should only do it if they pay to fly out all the ADT members to be in the audience. i mean, the soap opera happens on the boards, the only difference would be that it's on international television.
Why would any of these shows want her without me she's useless.

What's with the continued Drama. Last I heard people were not allowed to insult others here.
If DB is on Springer, good for her. Never seen her in action and Springer is played out, but I ain't gonna hate on her.
I guess the real question is, if she's "useless" does that make you less than useless? Oh well, guess it's just me, but I'd ignore her is she was useless, bu I have to admit this squabble is 100% made for Springer.
I'm guessing this will be a MILF Springer Show - she won't be useless for that! Still, overall the opinion of Springer has got to be pretty low. DeBella, have your agent try for something like Montel.
My reaction is that Springer would only want mother and daughter to fight on tv, or at least have one bad mouth the other if only one were on. If they won't do that, then he won't really want either one of them on the show.
Jewel's greatest fear is that because her mom's actually hot looking, that some producers in the industry are going to make repeated requests for an actual mother/daughter scene. So she's invented this 'hatred' issue as a diversionary tactic.
Of course, if De'Bella does, say, Lexington Steele after Jewel did him, like, what, 12,000 times, what's Lex going to be fantasizing about? And he's also now a producer. Ya think?
And remember about Howard Stern: he recently had on his TV show a pair of gorgeous incestuous twin sisters, so you know what he's definitely rooting for, even as he would handle it with a lot more class and dignity than Jerry Springer.
Damn...... Um...Okay. I just read all the back topics when this whole thing started and a... I'm trying to think of a response.
To be honest. I think there has to be a reason other then De'Bella joining xxx and telling Jewel about her scenes. I mean something very deep and emotional. Because if that is all then I have to say this is the most garbage I've ever read. Maybe your mom was just excited about her new career and just wanted someone to talk and relate to. Someone who knows the business well. Maybe she needed guidance. In any case there is no reason a daughter should ever talk to her mother in the way I've seen on these boards. Especially for everyone to hear/see. And as far as the personal issues being displayed here for everyone to know and see.......sigh.
I have to personally say this is very childish behavior coming from Jewel at this point. I mean I don't know the "whole" story, but from everything I'm reading, It all points to Jewel being extremely disrespectful and childish. De'Bella seems to want to reconcile and make things better. It seems as though she's still a caring mom who loves her daughter. That's what I've gathered from all the topics.
I'm not here to take anyone's side. You both seem to be lovely, well-mannered ladies(At least I though Jewel was until I read some of her more recent posts.). I think some issues definitely have to be resolved. And not on any t.v show. Especially Springer. You 2 are still wonderful ladies in my eyes, despite this recent fiasco. I hope you two can make amends one day.
P.S - Without trying to sound like some psychiatrist. Jewel. Talk to your Mom. One on One. Sit down and talk to each other and see what happens. If you both can't get past this then go your separate ways. But if you can get past it, that's all the more reason to give it a shot.
Doc, I actually wanted to say something similar a week ago but chose to stay out of what Luke Ford refers to as "A Feud". I think it's between mother & daughter. In contrast something interesting comes up as Jewel says on her podcast 17:21 that she's trying to start a family. One would ask is there room for De'Bella in her grandchild's life? Yes only Jewel and De'Bella can straighten out. Yes it would be nice and familial if De'Bella one day could take her grandchild to McDonald's and buy it hamburger & french fries and some of the cheap toys/games Mcdonalds is always hawking. Always brings cheer to a childs face. But after sticking my nose in this just a bit I'll leave with this said that Jewel, you only have one ma .
What the fuck does a Mcdonalds happy meal have to do with anything? That was hilarious.

The wives and I were asked to do that show (back when I had 2 of them) We discussed it and the major point of the discussion was "What would it do for us?" The answer was obviously, nothing. So we decided no.
They had a photo of us and wanted us on desperately they called constantly, upping the amount till we were at 4500 each and first class air and accomodations, when we said no at that point they quit calling.
But what you must ask yourself before doing any of those shows is simple....What will it do for me...yes we would have been on mainstream television but would it have sold us a single Video...no...the people who watch Springer arent my target audience.
I really don't care what any of you have to say about this as it's not your mother and if it were then how in the hell would you feel??? You've not been in my shoes and don't know the half of what my parents have put me through so don't comment on things you know nothing about. I have every right to be disgusted with this situation and no mother in hell has the right to discuss her porn life with their daughter it's just gross and crude. She's done things to get attention that are out of line and I won't have any part of it. She's hurt me deeply and my whole life my parents have only thought of themselves no matter what I've done for them.
Jewel, your mom did a scene with me, the Minion. She was nothing but class all the way. Even when she had her tongue deep in my ass she did it lady like. When the camera stopped rolling she continued to work over my circumsised poor excuse for a dick. Alas, when she had my popshot in her mouth which must have tasted like falafel and bagel,lox,and cream cheese she did so with a smile on her face. This post isn't to mock her. She was a true pro the entire time considering she was working with me, the stunt double for Jabba The Hut. We understand you don't like her and it's sad. However, it wasn't as sad as when I I was on all 4's like a bitch and she ate my ass. I have to agree with Jewel 100% on this one. (Although the personal stuff with her mother is none of my business and I have no comment on it.) NOTHING good can come from doing Springer (or any similar show). It is terrible not only for the performer on the show, but it is detrimental to all the women in our business and therefore a very irresponsible thing to do. I feel that to do a show or publicity stunt like this (or acting like a moron while running for governor) is a very selfish act. These people eat it up...and not because they like you. They do it to make fun of adult actresses and portray us all in a bad light. It is the producers sole agenda to get ratings by creating controversy. People who watch shows like Springer are not interested in hearing how intelligent, talented, or business savvy we are. They want to hear about our substance abuse problems, abusive childhoods, and what whores we are. One negative clip on television can undo so much hard work that ladies such as Jewel and myself (and many others) have done.
What's weird is that Springer has had the same insanity on his show for the past 9 years or so. He found a formula that worked but I can't believe it hasn't gotten old yet.
