I haven't seen this DVD version so I can't answer your question. However, if I may borrow your thread I would like to expand upon your question.

This is a classic film, originally done in 1972. Since it was done so many years ago, I would like to know how good is the quality of the images, and how well is the transfer to DVD accomplished.

mark, since it is a VCA DVD, I doubt very much that there are any subtitles in the movie.

It is not subtitled, and unfortunately, I cannot recall specifically what the "Never Seen Before Footage" was. I did not have the original videtape release to make comparisons, so my review is not helpful on that account.

In short, video and audio quality is stunningly good for this thirty year old film, and the transfer is as up to VCA standards of excellence.

Thanks for the info. Especially about the video and audio quality. I remember seeing the original (in a sleazy theatre).

Well, we did because there wasn't much choice.

Those that couldn't though certainly added to the sleaze factor.

(Sometimes it was a big rush to get back home though, and ...)
