These are actors pretending to love things they actually don't. Porn stars are the same - only they perform stunts others won't, work with lamer scripts, and get denied the benefits of a trade union. And that's pretty much why they get condescended to in topics like these ("What is going through their minds?", "What is their motivation besides money?"). Years ago there were countless physical trades which were viewed as exploitative, degrading, and beyond the pale. That public perception only changed when workers in the trade organized & pulled the rug out from people who underestimated them. Today those trades are well-paying, respected, and attacked by politicians who think they're too powerful. So, yeah, I long for the day when the New York Times accuses Dana DeArmond & her Old Town Girls of securing dental via oral.
