Smoke & Mirrors and Last Breath Both from Extreme Associates were both defective and would not play on of 5 players including progressive scan players, and my laptop and desktop players. I asked for working replacements instead of a refund but specifically asked that they check them prior to shipping as to not inconvenience me further. I got the replacements and they were also defective. JJM said they would refund after I give them the order #, I gave them the # and then they reniged and in basically called me a liar. I have purchased hundred of titles from ADM and am only reporting the dvd's defective because they are. I hade purchased the exact 2 titles from another seller in the past and they were all defective. I think that most if not all of copies of these 2 dvd's are defective. If anyone has a working copy of any of these I would really appreciate posting this on this thread. Also, if anyone has bought these in the past and can verify that the copies are defective, please post that. Or, if anyone from extreme Associates has any information as to what is wrong with these titles so that they do not play. Thank you. -lessthanzero

If Extreme Associates knows there is a problem they really need to fix it or reimburse the people who bought their defective dvd's. If they are unaware this should bring it to their attention. 2. Sellers like JJM should be aware of the defective product they are sending out, and not complain, accuse high volume buyers from ADM like myself of lying, and then renig on refunding me. JJM should be ashamed of themselves, and like Astroknight stated, I will never buy from them again! 3. I hope that this brings the problem to the attention of ADM that many buyers on their sight are getting hassled by sellers and then screwed with defective dvd's. Known Defective Extreme Associates dvd's. I have purchased 3 copies of each title, from 2 different sellers. All 6 copies were purchased brand new, and are defective and have a swirling discoloration pattern on the disc. Smoke & Mirrors Extreme Vacation Bought it brand new only once, but same defect as the others. [Link] |

I think I will just keep looking for the VHS' of Darlin and Myst's early extreme work. [Link] |

However, I have often been disappointed by the releases of both studios. The only place where they showed her to advantage was on the cover. [Link] |
