Two of the scenes were directed by Mike and 3 scenes were directed by Shy Love. I guess they like to take credit for things that are not there own. Third, if you mean "directed" in the sense of the camera work, well someone else working the camera with the "director" name on the cover happens all the time. Anyhow, I'm very pissed at Steph and Drew that they haven't removed the mediocre reviews I've received here over the years despite my massive kickbacks and bribes. Bastards!! Quaze P.S. Although I know that Defiance is putting out some very good product I just have to say that "Fanta-sin" ranks very high in the all-time list of porn titles that should have stayed in the "bouncing ideas around" category. Secondly, if you're in the industry as you seem to be, you should read this, in particular this sentence: Though you should note that coming onto a new forum and immediately making bullshit accusations about the site owners/admins/moderators is a good way to get yourself deactivated. Kinda like if I walked of the street into your house and immediately took a shit on your floor, hm?

| Defiance Films Member CA 23 Posts 3/05 | Posted - Oct 26 2005 : 11:32AM Shy Love did in fact direct the 3 scenes you referenced. And Vincent Voss, aka Mike Adam, directed the other 3 scenes.. after all this is a SIX scene title. Once shooting wrapped, Shy Love and her husband were summarily removed from any Directorial involvement with Defiance Films/Torrid Entertainemnt WELL BEFORE the uncut scenes went to editing. We chose to put the project into Voss's hands to deal with the editor, authoring and art work. Our reasons for terminating our relationship with Shy Love have nothing to do with her abilities. Shy is a very talented performer and director and we're sure she'll have much continued success in both areas. However, some things came to light after shooting wrapped that we were uncomfortable with and we made a business decision to part ways with Shy and her husband. What those reasons are, are known by Keith, Anthony, Shy and Erik, and they will remain that way. We find no reason to air internal laundry here. Again, we wish Shy the best in the future and we have not ruled out using her as talent for upcoming titles if she so desires. Defiance Films [Link] |
