long delays and at least 50% of the time they get the order screwed up - best is to order a minimum amount you can with them to keep access to the website. Also, the help is sometimes good and other times nonexistent - i think its a company that got too big too fast - must say they have an excellent web site though. Goteburg August Festival rules!!!!(any other good laid back parties in sweden? - when and where - i need to get another Volvo on the overseas delivery program which saves the US guys 8% and gives us a free sweden trip for 2!

I have ordered the odd single dvd with them in the past and they did arrive after say 10-14 days.

Has your order been shipped or is it backordered? Was it sent by normal air mail?

I have ordered a few DVDs a couple of years ago and got no problem. I live in Europe and it took around one month to get an order. I guess they ship them by boat.
Answers to email seemed irregular, but after a few emails I would get an answer.

As a general comment, I found them very serious (DVDs were brand new and in perfect shape), their website has a lot of information and, except their customs stickers which say something like "educational movies", the only problem I had was the restriction they place on buying from outside the US:

- no Fedex, UPS Express shipping with tracking number
- maximum 3 DVDs per shipping, the rest of the order being sent (by three DVDs again) once the customer has confirmed receipt of the first items. Getting 8 DVDs of the same order could take more than three months...
- they don't ship tapes. This is less a problem now that a lot of movies not available on DVD are no longer available on tape either.

just a little follow up to this post.
i ordered 5 titles on the 19th of december, of those i have received 3. the other 2 have subsequently been sent but never recieved. After having received the first 3 titles i ordered another 5 on the 6th of jan(silly me) of those i have received nothing!!!although they have been shipped 20th jan.
In the mean time i have ordered a total of 8 titles from five star dvd all were sent the next day and all were received within 8 days

you live and learn
dont buy from excalibur its a waste of time and money.

peace n out
