I'm interested in things like gender, race, age, income level, etc. Have any of the big porn companies ever done market research that they've released to the public? Obviously doing accurate market research would be problematic since there are large swathes of people who would never admit to watching porn. The same hurdle probably faces academic research as well. I've seen inforgraphics that have data on internet porn consumption in general, but it doesn't separate people who use illegal tube sites from those of us who pay. One reason I'm curious is that I want to know how representative ADT users are of the larger market. Thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction!  [Link] |

Which means that as far as men go, looking at porn is almost like eating and breathing. Virtually everybody does it. A more important marketing question to answer is which age groups look at porn more, what kind of porn they like, and how much they are willing to pay for it, if at all.  [Link] |
