And unlike my agent, Jim South, Derek doesn't appreciate my input or the mainstream promo work we've been doing. When you can't be controlled, they don't like to have you around. We may be out of the industry but we're not going anywhere. For now, we must take care of our immediate needs. Who knows what the future holds for us now but one things for sure . . they may have run us out of porn to work in the real world again but we're still in LA and we're still being heard. If I can't work in porn, then I can at least make sure others don't get the shaft from these people without understanding what they're getting into after putting their ass out there for these companies!! Which one is it Desi? As much as I despise Derek and wish him nothing but horrible things, as a businessman he had every right to do what he did. Except holding on to the contract. He should release Elli and be done with her. But he did book Elli on gigs and she cancelled a few because as you said Elli feared getting diseases from doing lollipop shots with other women. Derek then probably doesn't book her anymore because he didn't want her to flake. Desi took Elli and was trying to get work outside of their contract with LA Direct. They went to Naughty America again but NA wasn’t really interested anymore. Desi brags about how her and Elli’s story with TheNaughtyAmerican got NA so many hits. Desi felt she was entitled to be at Naughty America as many times as she wanted. Most who went to read it was for shock value. Not because they wanted to see a mother and daughter porn duo. I first heard about you two because of that interview. Desi is now laying all the blame on Derek from LA Direct and also on Naughty America when it's Desi that ruined everything. You left because you couldn't sell one DVD. I can run down a list of superstars in this industry that fought tooth and nail to be where they are and they have been successful for years now. You were thinking too big and too outside the box. You were already thinking about the mainstream when you should have just thought of making a name for yourself in the adult industry. It's already hard enough for porn stars to cross over into mainstream but you thought you could in only a matter of months. Trust me, this time next year, NO ONE will remember who Desi and Elli are or even were. The fun part is seeing them so oblivious to that fact because they're so caught up in themselves still, single-handedly manufacturing AND believing their own hype. We've seen it a million times and it always turns out the same way: people thinking they're bigger than the long-standing system that gave them their start and thinking they can go against said system and win. And since many have already said you profit from your daughter (do you really care at this point what people say about you), then start managing Elli or be her agent. Look at Sunny Lane's parents. And since you have said many of the girls look at you as a mother, try starting your own agency and managing new girls. Jim South manages you right? Good clean, fun porn. Don't know about the agency (spend some time with 10-15 girls at a time, I don't envy any agent lol) but teach them how to make good career choices, combine porn and mainstream to give everyone more opportunities, give them a site to sell their work until they could get their own biz going. But see, I wouldn't try to take all the profit from them. I'd give them control of their lives, not take it. But the main thing is the girls should have alot better choices than they do here and they need to be able to have some control over their lives and careers. I'm the only one trying to keep my daughter out of that world, fighting to give her these options since she chose to be here!! I can do nothing without capital. Hard, cold facts!! But because Elli had what it took to become much bigger than Desi in the biz, and unfortunately for Elli (from a business standpoint) any involvement with her meant involvement with Desi as well. They were just too close, and Desi had too many ideas/projects/plans that didn't fit with the usual patterns of the jizz biz. It's one thing to break out from the norm when you're a superstar. But when you're trying to make a name for yourself, let's face it, it's best to play it safe so you can build yourself up just like everyone else does, and earn your name through your looks and performances and personality. Having a particular niche of one's own just isn't enough - it has to be backed up by quality work. I almost wish Elli could convince Desi to let her come back to porn on her own, and have a career plan much like all the other hot young girls in the biz.
