ASH is actually cool if you wanna see first appearances (as well as those scared off from ever performing again by the groovy TT vibe), but Mike Metropolis does a great job of making the absolute best out of what I'm pretty sure is the typically demanding one-day wonder shooting sked ...

I agree Devil's Films sucks, the Gangland series, has several movies with looped scenes. Watched Gangland 8 last week and I came across two scenes that were looped ( approximately 3 mins ) to extend the movie to 90 mins.
Again have seen several movies in the Gangland series with this problem.
In my opinion they went downhill pretty fast after they cancelled the 6 black sticks serie, this whole excuse about not getting enough black performers for this serie didn't make sense. They still make some pretty good interracial movies but the Gangland serie also went downhill in my opinion.
I could not agree .The January 2005 releases are pretty good ,but i haven't seen any older titles . I miss only some bonus and behind the scenes in the Devils movies .
First of all consider their prices You can buy a 4 hour DVD for 7 bucks or even less than this. so the less you pay the less you obtain.
There's no meaning in considering Devil's film opposite to Evil Angel (average price $ 23).
I bought some of their compilations for one or two scenes in there. For example I've a great black Gangbang did by Chloe Nicholle in Gangland #1 another one did by Keiko in #47. Many others like Judy Star, Aimee Tyler, Ashley Long, Suzi Suzuki, Inari Vachs and so on
There is a grat scene between Kacey and Sean Michaels and another one between Kacey and Mr Marcus
None of them is looped actually I've never seen any looping in my Devil's DVDs

Speaking just about the current version of Devils Film, I don't think they suck at all. However, they might as well change their whole name to Devils Film Europe because it is now a rarity to see an American girl in one of their films-at least one of their non-bj films. And it's a miracle now whenever they have a full cast of American talent. As such, I haven't seen anything they've done in quite some time and have no plans to in the future unless that changes. Mike Metropolis did some good stuff for them last year and he now seems to be gone and directing for Smash Pictures. And they let Jon Dough go and he is just now getting up Exessive Entertainment, which seems to be distributed by VCA (LFP). So, they have been releasing fewer and fewer films each month. I don't think they suck, but I do think they have fallen off pace recently. They kind of remind of West Coast Productions, who for a while there had Stefano directing for them which combined with their strong IR work made them a really strong company. Then he left and the quality of their IR films plummeted and now I won't touch anything they do with a 10 inch stick. Devils Film isn't nearly that bad, as the last thing I saw from them was still pretty decent but the overall quality drop as it pertains to their whole catalog is similar. Then again, that's just my opinion as a non-Eurocentric porn fan. If you have no problem with Euro girls, you probably have no problem with Devils Film right now.
I don't think they suck.Quality goes up and down,but overall,I don't think they suck completely.
I miss Jon Dough,he did some great stuff for them,nothing spectactular but when Dough-boy is on,he knows how to shoot straight ahead good sweaty smut.
I like the Latin Teen and Anal Tryout series,Gangland White Boy Stomp may be ok but I've never been interested in their choice of girls.Double Filled Cream Teens is a good series.
I enjoyed earlier volumes of Gangland but the reason I don't get excited anymore is for the same reason others mentioned:too many Euro girls.
I know,porn fans are so picky,but I just don't dig these girls like I used to dig the ones from the mid-to-late nineties.

Though not my all-time favorite company, Devils is actually not that bad. I see a lot of potential with this company. Time will only tell, once the right producer(s) with some vision steps in. 50 Guy Cream Pie was a tremendous great start, but too mechanical and repetative. A+++ for effort!
You know... it's a shame to hear you say that. ADT has, and always will be a site for FANS first and foremost. Yes, it has a secondary mission to bring the fans and industry insiders together so that discussions can take place covering all manner of topics, but the main thrust of ADT is for fans to come and discuss what's good and what's not in porn, and for insiders to learn from that discussion.
Although the actual topic of this thread is a bit harsh, these kinds of discussions are indeed welcome, as long as (as Hardware indicated) they are supported with legitimate reasons that go beyond just "this sucks!"--the purpose being that Devil's films can come and read and participate and learn from their consumers as to what they might improve on, and/or what they are doing well.
Personal attacks are not welcome, but no one is doing that here. TheGman and others are commenting on the quality of work that Devils produces. As long as it's substantiated with fair reasons, that's a legitimate topic for ADT's forum, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
It seems the hype-machine that the insiders have been propogating around here so much over the past couple years has managed to convince even the fans that no one's allowed to say anything negative anymore.

MLyons, I totally agree with what you said about constructive criticism, and ADT being for the fans first and foremost. Actually it's two of the main reasons why I like it here so much. But shouldn't the topic title be something like the "Asian Street Hookers line SUCKS", instead of calling out the studio as a whole. That's truthfully all I meant by my question.
However the question was intended, I too agree with MLyon's convictions. He wasn't alone in the assumption, and his mindful, well stated jurisprudence, was appreciated nonetheless.
As for Devil Films, any less than favorable impressions I previously had, were wholly overturned, when they delivered rightfully upon as advertised, in "Stuff My Ass Full of Cum".
With all the rampant deception I find surrounding these kinds if flicks, one well done, ass cream pie release, buys a good dose of clout, and confidence with this pornhound.
Personally I also think DF could improve a lot on their camerawork, I mean the way the cameraman shot the Ariana gangbang was really sad. Way too many close-ups and not enough total shots, this is also a complain for their other movies.
You get what you pay for. Devil's Films may not have the best production values, but their prices are reasonable and they manage to get some pretty good talent. It's hard to go wromg with big black studs banging hot little white chicks.

Man, I love Devils' Films. The early series might be a little backward by today's standards but hell everyone evolves and this company has done just that- gotten better with age. As someone stated earlier the newer Ganglands are some of the best dvds I own. Mike M does some fabulous work. I also like many of DF's other recent lines. It may be my tastes differ from those of you who disagree but I would say try a few of the new ganglands or other newer releases ( last year or 2) and see if you don't agree.
'Cum Filled Throats 6' obviously has some technical issues. This is the third copy i am returning (tried 2 different US retailers on different coasts).
Why weren't all these discs recalled when they were known to have faults.
I can't get past the first chapter without the disc freezing on 2 different players (Alba standalone plyer and Sony dvd rewriter)
I just hope my second copy of 'Semen Shots 1'(from a second retailer) will be ok.
I would have to say this WAS a great company. They have gone down hill. Gangland was one of my favorite series, but something happened along the way. They are doing a lot of movies now that are not devil's brand. Oh well plenty of good porn still out there
Devil's Films is one of those companies with very inconsistent quality from what I've seen. I've seen some of their stuff that was just what I love to see in porn and I've seen some that was everything I hate about porn. It's really hard to shop for porn by brand because any given company might produce a few gems at any random time. It cannot be said that "Devil's Films sucks" any more than it can be said that anyone else always delivers. Porn just doesn't work that way, unfortunately. Sometimes you'll have all the elements that should make a flick suck and yet it doesn't, somehow. And sometimes you'll have all the elements that should make a flick rock and yet it'll suck ass. I've seen some good stuff from Devil's. I wouldn't say it would appeal to everyone but the stuff I liked was good for me.
I loved their Gangland series, the earlier productions but they don't have any big named male stars to really showcase. The newer stuff is horrible, bad camera angles and c and d list male stars.
I've seen a couple of the recent Gangland DVDs. They aren't exactly well shot, just formulaic gonzo porn, but they manage to find some lovely European performers. I don't understand why some people dislike European girls. To me a beautiful woman is a beautiful woman, and a good performer is a good performer. I like plenty of American performers, but the world of porn is all the better thanks to women like Angel Dark and Rebeca Linares. Two out of the three performers in Gangland #62 were new to me, they're all hot, and they all put in a good performance. Complaining seems like nitpicking when the porn did its job and got me off. Too much porn these days just puts me to sleep.

Yep they are scamming the customer. I noticed that they just repackage some scenes from Gangland Whiteboy Stomp to titles Black Girls Who Crave White Cock. I got ripped off when I bought one of each. Had a scene in there that was the exact same. This is where I get annoyed with these studios then. They just repackage and new name to make more money from us.

Oh I know but because I am into a market that is small, IR white guy/black girl, they seemed to come up with the most titles in that market. So i thought great and bought some. Then I got pissed because if I am spending $25 on a dvd and each has a scene from another one with a different title, that is ripping the customer off. They could list it as a compilation. Vivid and Wicked for example, you know if you buy a 4 hour Jenna Jameson dvd it is scenes from a bunch of her movies.

Ok I guess when it is OUR money that is spent and we the CONSUMER are not happy with the product for various reasons, we'll be more politically correct. Here is my experience with 2 of the titles I purchased from Devil's Films. I put the one DVD in, Gangland Whiteboy Stomp and thought it was pretty good. The black girls were pretty attractive, the white guys were ok and the sex was pretty hot. I then put in the 2nd DVD Black Girls Who Crave White Cock. I was disappointed that 3 scenes were from the Whiteboy Stomp series yet I was led to believe this was a new series. I was very disappointed to find that this series is basically a compilation of thier Whiteboy Stomp series really. I wish Devil's Films would label that series as a Best Of Whiteboy Stomp. How about that. Was that better than saying that Devil's Films dvd's suck? At least they got my money right? And I should be thankful that they try to make a good movie. They are ripping the customer off in my eyes, fuck the being constructive. It is my money that is being spent on the dvd, I expect to NOT be ripped off. Come on, insults. I was just trying to convey that it is much more helpful to say what it is that sucks. If I get smacked in the balls when I step on a rake, I don't step on that rake again. You guys deserve quality product, I think most companies try to deliver, I know here at Cezar Capone, we really work on making the best product out there, I want to know if something falls short. I will gladly refund anyones money if they feel like they got something that sucks.
