No matter how dedicated you are to your beliefs, it takes either a REALLY strong person or a person with no conscience to ignore or learn to ignore all the negative stuff that can be said about porn performers and the industry in general.

Although I'm not convinced about the whole burka thing ...... I do strongly believe in Mason's movies and hope that she continues to care about the performers as she continues to direct them.

I've had doubts during my years in the porn business about whether I can accept the fact that there are people who don't even know me who choose to hate me because of porn, but I NEVER once doubted my own choice to do porn.

Back in 1996-97, I did some of the roughest sex that was being videotaped in that "era". Mason - grab Sexual Atrocities or War Whores or Week & 1/2 in the Life of a Prostitute off the shelves in Elegant's warehouses, and I can assure you that I don't regret for a second any of the "acts" that I performed in those movies.

Porn doesn't make any of the girls choose to do things or live a certain lifestyle. If they claim to be victims of porn, I believe that even without porn, they'd be victims of their own lives.

The more we discuss her personal life in such a nit-picky, salicious and gossipy way makes me wonder how much different we are from Diane Sawyers'/ABCs vulture and baiting tactics.

I'm with Tricia on this all the way; I think her last point just about sums up personal responsibility in porn. I for one refuse to feel guilty about our fellow porn stars' lives since they are made out of choice.

P.S. P-Knuckle, I agree with what you (and Tricia) said about porn stars needing to accept full responsibility for their choices. But as for gossip, any porn star in his or her right mind would welcome it. Being the focus of so much attention is great for a porn star's career. You're in deep doo-doo when people aren't talking about you (as in, "Bella who?"). Besides, it's not all gossip. A lot of it is praise and support of Bella (which I've been offering myself). These long threads dedicated to Bella Donna probably has her dancing with joy (and I'm 1,000% convinced that she has read every one of them). Bella did make a couple of posts here at ADT recently under someone else's screen name (I think it was Dion's if I'm not mistakened). Bella, we would be honored if you would become a member of ADT and start posting, my love.
