According to the IMDB, they did: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081593/

It's not in their current catalog, or on the website anywhere.

I emailed David Naylor, but never got a response.

I know it's a bootleg, but I would like to find this version, as it was probably transferred from an original theatrical print, as all of Alpha Blue's movies are.

Not to the best of my knowledge. You should check out the release from Standard Digital though. The company is owned by Kirdy Stevens and the old release looked great, I'm not sure about the current one (they just changed it) but I can't see it looking worse.

I don't believe it is cut but I can only go based on previous VHS/DVD versions that I have seen as I never saw it theatrically.

Sorry to break it to you, but only a small fraction of Alpha Blue's releases come from prints. About 90% of their tapes and discs are culled from out of print VHS tapes. I didn't know they released TABOO, but Kirdy Stevens probably wisely put a stop to it. The Standard Digital disc, with Stevens and Kay Parker commentaries, is uncut, as far as I know.

In re-reading my original post, I realized I typed "all", and that was a mistake. What I shoud have said is that I have bought a number of VHS tapes from Alpha Blue (most now out of print) and quite a few appear to be print to VHS transfers. Examples off the top of my head: Femmes de Sade, Pretty Peaches, Gums, Through the Looking Glass, An Act of Confession, Long Jeanne Silver, possibly others. It is some times pretty obvious what their original source material was.

You mean Dorothy LeMay? She wasn't the sister, she was Mike Ranger's girlfriend/fuck bud. And yes indeed, she was one of the best young ladies of early 80s California porn. She was the performer who many accused of being Susan Olsen (aka "Cindy Brady") all grown up!!
