| sound67 Member 15 Posts 3/09 | Hi, I'm a fan of this particular xxx star, so I'm regularly checking updates on available photos. Just now, seeing a series of free photos here: http://gallery.topwebmodels.com/ps/100172/3434/42/2/0/1/4/0/0/1/0/ I noticed the peculiar cuts on her left arm. You can see it here: ![]() To me, these look like cuts she may have willingly inflicted on herself, as some people suffering from acute depression sometimes do. If so, someone should take care of her immediately. Is my interpretation wrong? sound Edited by - sound67 on Nov 13 2009 [Link] |

| ADT44 Member 876 Posts 7/09 | I've noticed this girl when I still had a paid subscription and have seen a couple of scenes with her. It's always kinda sad news to hear that a girl is not happy with herself, with the sex business in which she works, or with other aspects of her life. That said, I'm not comfortably any longer to check out her scenes..... I just don't wanna see it any longer ![]() |
| Cassandra Calogera Member 152 Posts 2/08 | sound67: you are correct in your judgements made about the cuts on my arm. for many years i engaged in self mutilating behaviors one in which was cutting. while i have not cut myself in quite awhile these scars will forever be with me and viewable to everyone. self mutilation can be a symptom of depression, many people cut themselves, burn themselves, break their own bones in order to get some type of relief. too me cutting use to be a way to feel again, often i would find myself feeling completely numb unable to feel happiness, sadness, anger...anything, cutting allowed me to feel pain which made me feel human in a way. i know this behavior will not easily sit with some people, many wont ever understand it either. solidsnakelee12: thank you for your kind words! unfortunately there are many women in the world who struggle with eating disorders, i've had one for over 8 years now. it is not a result of my work in the adult industry, if anything working in porn has made my self esteem far better then when i was in my teens. i am thankful for all of my fans who have allowed me to see myself as a sexy individual! adt44: i am sorry that the scars you see on my arms steer you away from my work in the industry. i however DO consider myself a happy person. i have been through many struggles in my life, i certainly have ups and downs. but as far as cuts on my arms go, they are merely a remembrance of my past when i didn't know that i had better coping skills. unfortunately this is something i cannot erase from my life as scars stay with you forever. also i have NEVER said that i am not happy in the adult industry...in fact it has allowed me to view myself in a much more positive light and has improved my life in a variety of way. also it would be fair for you to acknowledge that MANY women in this industry have personal issues, actually everyone in the world struggles with there own things...i am just the girl who speaks honestly about it, and i am the better for it. thanks for your thoughts! | ADT44 Member 876 Posts 7/09 | I must say, it always kind of scares me to see/hear that someone is/was so unhappy with themselves, that they somehow can’t seem to find a way to get themselves out of that miserable situation. It makes me happy to hear that it going better with you, lets keep it that way. It’s always hard for me to figure out why great looking girls like yourself can be so unhappy with themselves for something as "insignificant" as weight. I mean, c’mon now, very few people would even think about something unfriendly/unnice about you or about how you look when they look at your direction. That’s a fact. There is a lot more important stuff to think about than another individuals weight or appearence. Yes, even when people look at you or someone else on the subway or at mcdonalds, wendy’s or wherever. It’s just a quick look at "a" person where they notice that another human being is in the same area as he or she is. That’s it. And if you really are unhappy with your weight, then I would suggest you to get a membership at gold’s gym, world gym or at a 24 hour fitness studio? If you are that unhappy with your weight, you could try getting into shape with the help of a personal trainer working at those gyms. I’m sure they can set-up a nutrition/cardio/ and fitness plan with you and help you achieve your goals. Also, try to have a good relationship with your family and friends or with your boyfriend/husband( if you have one). And never ever let "a" man make you feel miserable. If a relationship doesn’t work out, well, then just move on and don’t try to think about that person very much: hobbies or getting to that gym keeps your mind focussed on other(more)important things. The only person that important, is you, only you! Anyway, I’m sure that there are more than enough guys out there that would like to make you feel like your miss America. Don’t forget it when you feel like shit. Depressions can be a scary and dangerous thing! If you don’t have a great family/home situation, then it’s never a bad or shame worthy thing to seek professional help or ask for some depression meds/drugs. I’m sure they both can help you bring you in a happier non-suicidal state of mind. Don't do stuff you might regret or that could make your loved ones feel (extremely) sad. Anyway, Cass, don’t you scare us again with this self mutilating stuff ever again and don’t do other stuff that can endanger your health or possibly your life! No matter how deep the abyss is, in which you fell, there’s always, ALWAYS somebody who looks at you from the edge and throws you a rope to get you out of that deep dark hole. You just remember that, if you ever find yourself in a mentally bad situation again! You take care of yourself, okay? Bye |
