Some pornstars seem to be in the biz forever, which I am not complaining about - Jessica Drake, Jessica Jaymes, Alektra Blue, I hope they keep putting out new work, I love it. Some retire at just the right time to leave every man wanting more of them. Lately Ive found myself wishing Shawna Lenee and Jenna Haze did more work before retiring, but at the same time it just means that the work they did becomes better because there is less of it. That makes sense doesnt it? Not that there isnt a shitload of work with those two girls. I just don't know if I want them to come back or to leave on the high that they did. What does everyone else think?
interesting topic for discussion, I feel like Jenna Haze did almost everything within her range (maybe except some Kink shoots). with Shawna I agree she should've done more but at the same time she felt disrespected by a few people and vowed to leave and never come back. now there is a dilemma do I want her to return and think less of her because of a broken promise (although I could whack to her) or set her as an example of a Pornstar of her word and wish she wouldn't eventually. there are others out there but have to think about good examples first.
Jenna did have the complete career - teen to girls only to mega anal slut. I know Shawna left because the industry was not right by her, but she left just as she was about to hit mega-stardom. She was already extremely big, but not quite at the jenna haze/ briana banks/ even jenna jameson level. She could have been, she's cute and hot at the same time with a personality and brains. Savannah Stern is someone who just came to mind who could have done more.
I like Shawna but think she was on that lever really. A girl that was a mega star in the bloom when she feel of the radar is off course Keri Sable! Another one that could have been huge was Carmen Monet. Such a sweet girl!
I definitely agree. She was doing great work, then got the inflatables & injected lips and started coasting. She'd pop in from time to time to prop up her feature dancing. The pre-plastic Savannah was a wildcat. She was made to do Kink scenes, and pre-plastic SS would have been great in them. Now? I'm not so sure. Vanessa Leon is another one I think had more good scenes in her. Jodi Bean would probably count too. I thought Jodi left right when she was getting hot.

For me, the ones who left too early are the super-hot obscure girls who did at most, like, 20 scenes and of those scenes, sometimes they just weren't from a large enough cross-section of websites and/or with enough different partners. Maxine Tyler/Tia Cox immediately comes to mind. Mindy Lee and Trisha Marx also. There's a shitload that fall into this category.
Zoe Voss' retirement was definately a blow, she was on the verge of something great. Belladonna's second part of her career was imho too short (when she appeared and directed Cock happy, Manhandled etc.). The first part was not my cup of tea (except the Gangbang girl scene) with very poor lighting, too many cocks, sticking bats up the ass, she wasnt looking that hot either compared to lets say 2008-2011. Miko Lee definitely had a shitload of content from 1999-2004 but -I mean its great beating material- that looked kinda the same and I wish she'd stay for the new era type of movies, with higher quality and be sort of a mentor for younger starlets appearing then. Her leave was very abrupt, considering she had and still has a banging body. Lily Thai I think also left when she started to get really big buzz and traction in the industry. She left with a lot of unfinished business. Brandy Blair also had a shorter stint that I imagined, she like Zoe came from a world where you dont think porn would be really that great and viable of an option. And her reasons to leaving are also unclear, wish shed give it a second try.

Based on what I read then I feel comfortable in saying that most posters missed the point of the thread because we aren't supposed to be talking about performers you wished had done more stuff but the ones that left way too early. At least that's what I read from the title. It's a little hard to believe that performers who shot more than 100 movies left too early. Case in point. Shawna Lene: 241 titles to her name. I wished she would have done more than one anal scene but that doesn't mean that she wasn't a prolific performer. Jenna Haze: 568 titles to her name and there is probably very little that she didn't do multiples times. At least legal things. Ricki White: 171 titles to her name. She also shot a wide variety of scenes so it is not like there were fans that were hoping she would do something different. Belladonna: 326 titles to her name. There is nothing legal that Belladonna did not do in her career and she certainly didn't leave anyone hoping for something new. Miko Lee: 198 titles to her name. Another prolific performer who did everything possible in porn so fans weren't left hoping for something new. Brandy/Brianna Blair. I agree that she left too early because she has less than 100 titles to her name and she left the industry when fans were still hoping she would do a lot more. Kodi Jane can't be on this list because she doesn't even have 10 scenes to her name so at best she is mostly a one and done type of performer. That doesn't mean that you can't hope that she would have shot a lot more stuff but it's different than someone who left too early. I'll have to think before I can actually add a name to this thread because there aren't many that come to mind. Most of the ones I think of are more like Shawna in that I wished they would have done more stuff but they still shot plenty of porn. P.S: I would also like to add that Shawna's name should never be used in the same conversation as Jenna because one was a true superstar who did everything while the other was a good performer with a prolific porn career but not that many memorable scenes.

Angel Cummings was one i woulda loved to see more of. She did under 100 scenes. Personally, I think you could name Shawna Lenee with anyone: beauty + all out sexual performance - although Jenna Haze does rank higher and is one of the all-time greats.
