I see a few of these agencies mentioned and I've always wondered, "What's that mean for my favorite star?" when they sign with this or that agency. Are different agencies known for different genres? Better at getting roles for X or Y company? Etc etc? [Link] |

| pat362 Senior Member 10081 Posts 3/10 | The main advantage in having an agent/agency is that girls can get more job offers since some studios will never hire a self-booking girl because they got burned too many times in the past when those self-bookers flaked on a shoot. Even girls with agents/agency flake on shoots but at least the studio can request a replacement if there is one available and they can get some of their money back from the agent/agency. Not sure that is an option with a self-booker. |
