Director Wrex Oliver Earns AVN, GayVN Award Nominations

(LOS ANGELES, Calif. / December 29, 2025) — Adult filmmaker Wrex Oliver is enjoying a breakout year, with 2026 AVN / GayVN Awards nominations in acknowledgment of his outstanding output from varied companies including multiple TeamSkeet studios, Nookies, Oops Family, HushPass, AuntJudy’s, TugPass, and SayUncle.

In the AVN Awards, 2026 Oliver and his work have been recognized in the AVN Awards category of Best Directing Portfolio – Varied Range.

In the 2026 GayVN Awards, Oliver’s debut gay feature, Sexerance (SayUncle) — a surreal, erotic twist on the lauded Apple TV series, “Severance,” has been recognized in the categories of:

Best Actor: Eddie Patrick, Sexerance (SayUncle.com)

Best Supporting Actor: Cole Connor, Sexerance (SayUncle.com)

Wrex Oliver is one of the busiest directors in the U.S. Adult Film Industry. The Los Angeles native started out as on-camera talent, earning an AVN Awards nomination for Best Male Newcomer. He won an AVN in 2018 for Best Oral Sex Scene, before shifting his career focus to directing in 2019.
