He goes from nothing to being on top of his own world to ruining it all with drugs and resorting to escorting for drug money. In the end, he gets right and is welcomed back into the industry with open arms. I've heard and read that called basically the typical path of a pornstar, give or take a variable or two (i.e. drugs.) Yet I remember reading an interview with a then fresh-faced young star named Taylor St. Claire in which she said the movie was bad for the industry as that was not how things were at all. Yet I have heard Taylor referred to as a typical pornstar. So, who's right? I know she is dancing at Eros Station and also moonlighting as a dominatrix through www.puredomination.com and www.meanbitches.com. But the thought that this woman won best actress last year for "Fashionistas" and was part of the biggest adult film of last year and then can just suddenly vanish like that with no real official announcement of any type of retirement is a bit disconcerning. It's a Debra Winger-esque disappearing act, but this seems to happen all the time in porn. There are the Jewel De'Nyles and Nina Hartleys who are in it for the long haul because they love what they do. But looking at the big returns of Juli Ashton, Amber Lee, and Marilyn Chambers in the past leaves me always suspecting that when a girl retires from porn there is a very good chance that she'll be back again in a year or so.

Actually, Pussyman has only done 2 full on sex scenes with penetration and everything with her. Considering just how many freakin' Pussyman movies she's been in that's a very fortunate ratio. I started a thread a long time ago about how disturbing it was to see Pussyman throwing himself back into the scenes and obviously not being able to perform anymore. But it got 2 responses and no one cared. That's a different topic. "Taylor has been escorting for at least 2-3 years, as far as I can tell from the Internet ads." A lot of those internet ads pull bait-and-switch antics so I wouldn't go stictly off of those. That's all I'll say. Okay. Taylor was a beauty queen of some sort from the midwest who came out to California and did some nude modeling. She eventually got into porn as a girl/girl only performer. Then she worked with her fiance. They broke up and she went all crazy in the gonzo world. Once that happened her star rose and she was nominated for Performer of the Year two years in a row. Then, she is suddenly gone from film to dance and maybe escort. This is what I mean in saying...is this the typical pornstar? Thanks Picman by the way.
