Hey - I wasn't sure where to post this. Hope Tech Talk works.
I just received an email from someone looking for the contact information for Millenium Movies (who trade on adultdvdmarketplace.com). This person states that "I am trying to contact Millenium Movies
and tendernights to seller on the site that you may have ordered some movies from in the past can you send me their email address contacts and I want to ask them some questions..." (sic to all of that).
Any idea how they could have found out I bought movies from these sellers, other than MM disclosing my information? Or maybe ADM? There may be a totally innocent reason, but I do recall this company disclosed the *real name* of one of their customers, right here at ADT. (On searching for that incident, I discovered MM are no longer operational, so I guess this all might be moot, but I would still like to hear y'all's thoughts on this).

Have you ordered from both Millenium Movies and tendernights?
For what it is worth, I've done business through ADM and haven't received any such email (yet).

Definitely from Millenium, yes, and the person even seemed to know the orientation of the films. But not from tendernights. How would this person even have my email address? Actually, now that I think of it, the email he sent it to is not the one connected to my marketplace account...so...maybe he just thought "GGG must have ordered gay porn from this site, I will ask her." That is distinctly possible...

Hmm, the email addresses of sellers are easy enough to find on ADM, so I can't think of a good reason for this person to be asking you for such information. It may be a phishing attack - best to ignore it, unless you want to report it to ADM.

Does the name you use to give feedback there have any connection with the e-mail address you received the e-mail to? Just wondering if the person may have seen feedback and Google searched the feedback name to come up with the e-mail addy.
