I'm trying to find a source for two Cazzo DVDs titles (Dangerous Island [2 DVD set] & Ölwechsel [Oil Change]) released in Europe but not in the USA (only VHS versions are available here). PAL and country codes are not an issue. Can anyone familiar with international porn issues aim me at an online store (hopefully with good discounts) which can ship to the USA reliably and inexpensively?

I'm also looking for some of the DVDs of Jean-Daniel Cadinot which seem to be available on his site.

I see a lot of information about shipping porn to Europe from the USA but not a lot about shipping to the USA from Europe. And, the few stores I've found thus far seem to be very expensive. Any help finding gay titles at a discount will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
~ GaySatyr

I've found this site: http://www.gay-sex.nu/english/

And I thought that prices in the USA were bad!!! Premium DVDs range from US$80 to over US$100 per DVD!!!

Anyone know of any better deals?

I am not the best person to advise you, but I receive a catalogue from a company called Simply The Best - they are set up to ship to the UK from Europe, but they say they will ship to every country in the world. Might be worth getting in touch with them to find out.

They claim a "huge" selection of gay DVDs on their website at http://www.simplythebestdvd.com.

Their prices (around £20 - £24 sterling) are perhaps a little better if still more expensive (why are gay titles so expensive???).

Thanks - This is the best I've seen so far; however, at from £22 (US$35) each for the Cazzo titles to £37 (US$58) each for the Cadinot titles, it is still a lot of money - especially with the cost of shipping to the USofA added.

Their shipping option of sending just the DVDs in plain wrappers and the cover art in a separate mailing sounds like a good (& relatively safe) deal, too.

I do appreciate the information. I'll keep looking for a little while longer before placing an order.

Actually, I just placed an order - Cock Gun from Clair Video and Oil Change from Cazzo - about US$75, including shipping. Not too bad at all!

Again, thanks.... I'll post again when the DVDs (& cover art) arrive.

OK, I hope your order comes through safely. I forgot to mention the separate packing of discs/covers, which I found annoying to be honest, but if it suits you, fine. Glad to be of help!

For straight stuff from Europe, EroDVD has the best prices (with free shipping). They appear to have good prices for gay titles too (between Euro 16.95 & 17.95). But their selection is extremely small (4 titles currently).

IIRC, M Lyons was looking for a European titles that he couldn't find anywhere and sent Aline (one of the owners) an e-mail about it. She was able to get that movie for him. I have no idea how much it cost.

If you are looking for specific titles, it couldn't hurt to contact them.

The cover art for my two titles arrived yesterday via standard surface mail - postmarked Malaga (in southern Spain) - essentially 10 days after my order. I can't tell what day the envelope was mailed as the postmark is smeared.

The DVDs were to have been posted separately, packed in plain white disc envelopes. (This was my choice of their three options: (A) DVD with box & cover art; (B) DVD & cover art only, no box; and (C) DVD only, neither box nor cover art.)

The origins of my two DVDs are France and Germany; the cover art is in English, obviously having been reprinted for the UK market, rather than that having been produced for the market of origin.

A comment about the titles currently listed on erodvd.nl :
  • Harlem Knights Gang Bang (Route 69 Entertainment / Sunshine DVD) - EURO 17.50 / US$ 19.03

  • Rough Road Ahead (Route 69 Entertainment / Sunshine DVD) - same price as above

  • Gay Amateur Boys (Homo-Mania) - EURO 16.95 / US$ 18.43

  • Fick und Blas-spiele nach der Training (Homo-Mania) - same price as above
Junk titles at prices at least 50% higher than prices for the same titles here in the states in the case of the two DVDs from Sunshine - a notably piss-poor DVD producer.

No information found about the Homo-Mania titles; however, based on the Sunshine choices and their price structure, I would not be confident in erodvd.nl marketing of gay porno material. They have obviously ignored potential gay clientele.

My 2 DVDs arrived safely (along with a receipt posted separately) in yesterday's mail, again postmarked Malaga, Spain. I am very happy with STB's service and charges.
