Oh, please. Several directors have clearly responded to what fans have written about at AdultDVDTalk. Just because you're pissed at a few directors doesn't give you license to condemn the whole lot.
They respond yes but I meant I don't see many directors taking suggestions from fans seriously because at the end of the day they will always shoot what they want.
I doubt that you do see many, but many is not the same as all. Why let those who ignore advice hide behind a blanket statement?
Also, recognize that there's a difference between making suggestions that will improve the product and making suggestions that simply cater to your particular interest. You can't expect directors to try catering to every whim, but you can challenge them on statements they make about their product and you can point out where you think there's room for improvement.
I enjoy hearing feedback from any and all sources but I usually just go with my gut for my productions. Mistakes are made but I can live with them. Sometimes people think it's as easy as saying, "I'd like to see Ginger Lynn in BAKER'S DOZEN." Then, when the next one comes out and she's not in it (nor any other new release because -- ahem -- she doesn't perform on camera anymore), they get ticked off.

I think Ramsey should start producing his own stuff and then he can watch what he thinks is the perfect foot etc. etc. movie and then we can critique it and see how he resonds to our criticism! what do you think of that Idea! i give suggestions to producers that never listen. then i found a place called clips4sale.com. i never gave those people suggestions yet alot of them KNOW what to shoot. the main difference is probably that the amatuers have foot fetishes.
Being criticized for style is something any artist has to expect. As long as the critic applies the same standard to everybody's work it shouldn't upset you.
I do have to note that making what you think is the perfect movie is not the same thing as setting customers' expectations about what your movie is. This is what I took you to task about earlier. If you put a star in a fetish movie then don't have her participate in the fetish you can hardly expect happy customers, no matter how technically well done the movie is.
If I would produce my own stuff I would make sure I would shoot action the way Denys Defrancesco shoots most stuff for hotlegsandfeet.com. That's my definition of good foot-fetish work. It's a mix hot girls and great soles and toes shots all shot from the right angles. It's too bad he only shoots euro girls not American girls.
I buy each and every copy of the TLP series and BFC series as they come out, there is no bigger fan of the foot fetish genre than me. In my opinion, BFC 40 was the worst one ever filmed because of all the black feet - 3 out of 5 girls. Not my cup of tea, just not sexy at all.
The TLP series has overtaken the BFC series for top quality productions, and I love the new fresh girls Brandon finds.
The PussyFootin series, though, are among the lamest and most boring foot fetish movies I have ever seen, especially some of the earlier titles. You could fall asleep watching this series, it's like watching one of those antiseptic, high quality but low sleaze porn productions (Vivid, perhaps?).
ArchEnemies had potential, but the directors for some reason believe that foot fetishists want to see male feet also. We absolutely do not. Even the Toe Jam series was better than this (actually, great value in those discs, 10 girls per disc, just no fucking).
In conclusion, no male feet, black feet, or any volume of the PussyFootin series.

To bad the Toe Jam serie got cancelled. I bought almost all volumes because they used some of my favorite girls in it. So Black Ice or WCP won't make any black foot fetish soon so you will be seeing More Ghetto Booty movie. Personally I think it would have been better if KAP had released a black version of BC simply because a lot of foot-guys want white feet only while the other group only wants black feet and perhaps a seperate version of asian feet also. I personally am only into white feet and that's my problem with KAP right now because recently it seems they mostly shoot black and asian girls.
Well, for me at least, I feel like a non-fetishist must feel when I watch a scene with black feet. A few examples are Tiffany Mason, Mya Lovely, Dee (who works for many of us as either Black or Hispanic), Koko (remember her?), Taren Thomas, etc. What works for me is that KAP tries to use pretty, slender performers and for this reason I'd rather see KAP run with this theme than WCP or Black Ice.

I agree, Ramsey. However, I think there also needs to be a balance, because let's face it, alot of people just don't get the fetish, despite it being so "common" that it barely rates as a fetish anymore.
