I hope to be heading to San Fernando in September to do a limited number of video shoots (I am not interested in a 'career' in porn). I've decided that I only want to work with a few guys who specialize in administering facials. In fact, I'd prefer to do just oral/BJ + facials - no unprotected penetration. So I'd like to work with guys like Jesse Loads, Johnny Load, Winston Burbank, Rodney Moore, and others (suggestions welcome!). Do I *need* an agent or can I approach these guys independently? I've heard plenty of negative stuff about scumbag agents and assorted creeps in the porn industry, and I want to avoid them. Plus, I don't think I need a middleman to skim money off from my earnings. I'm pretty intelligent and level-headed (prospective physics major!), so for me an agent seems unnecessary. Other girls less bright than I am probably get conned and low-balled on a daily basis in the porn business. This is why I'm cautious, and why I want to be independent (i.e. no agents). In my opinion, if you are going to be a physics major and have a potentially very successful career, do you really want to jeopardise your future for a couple of BJ shoots? There is always the risk that even just a couple of porn videos could come back to haunt you many years from now.

Dragona: I'm aware of at least some of the risks involved and the potential harm appearing in a few HC porn flicks could do to my career prospects. Then there's the very real possibility of my parents discovering that their bright, innocent daughter has chosen to 'degrade' herself simply in order to fulfill her silly fantasies (and let's face it, facials are pretty degrading -- albeit immensely arousing to watch!). You can approach them independently. That LATATA thing is a joke; the primary purpose of porn agents is for girls unable to schedule things on their own, or for their access to escorting gigs. Just fire off an email and include a picture. If they want to shoot you, they'll find a way.
are you bright enough to know facials come with their own risk of infection and disease and so you should insist on all the guys you work with have the correct health certificates?

Anyway, in regards to your plan, Rachel: please be advised that in this day and age it is 100% guaranteed that every single person you've ever met will know you shot porn. Someone will see the vid, and they will make sure to tell everyone. If you don't think this is true, just ask any porn performer you can find on twitter or here at ADT how long it took for their friends and family and everyone else to find out they did porn. For most, it's a matter of days, not weeks or months. Just something to bear in mind if you don't plan on making this a career - it becomes a career the second the camera starts rolling on your first scene. You may have other careers afterwards, but everyone you ever work with will know you did porn.

Hey Neptune I don't know very much about the business end of the porn world, but I've spent some time in the sciences, and Physics and the quant oriented majors are fairly male dominated, and some of your future career options (including grad school) might be adversely impacted by your having done porn. If you do porn I'm sure I'd be happy to watch your scenes, as might future colleagues or supervisors, but they may not take you seriously because of that. If you have the math skills and discipline for a BS in Physics there are a lot of interesting well paying jobs that could be yours in the long run. Having a porn past probably wouldn't help you get those jobs.
If you're going to be all anti-agent, at least do it correctly. I'd be with the basic argument that the primary point of an agent nowadays is actually to protect the producer and not the talent. A girl with an agency is more likely to show up and not back out of the scene than a girl without one.
I have no affiliation with the industry, but I'd say approach with caution. One thing a good agent would do is try to get you the best paying jobs because it's in their best interest because they do earn a percentage. Then again we do hear stories of agents who are trying to get as much money for themselves and will send performers to pretty much any kind of scene; whether the performer has said they want to do that type of scene. A good agent will give you some guidance as to what to expect, what to refuse and how to handle situations you might not expect. The reason you want as much good information you can obtain before you go is if you decide you don't want to do the scene, the people doing the production might charge you a "kill fee." You'd be expected to pay for the time and services of various people involved with the scene who are then not going to do their job (and get paid, and they might expect their pay from you). Like politics if you do anything that can be googled, expect it to show up at the most inopportune time. I don't want to dissuade you, but I would suggest you get yourself informed. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Maybe because they are a full-of-shit bunch of scam artists perhaps? Very stupid way to 'advertise' your girls: by hiding them away from fans and producers alike. If I was a producer, I wouldn't jump through hoops to have to see what actresses they have and what they do, by having to send emails for to get a password and log-in, etc, etc... I would rather click a single link and see all the girls right there and then. Everything about Mötley models stinks.
still amazes me how ignorant some people are to this risk. the eyeball is essentially an open wound. thousands of tiny exposed blood vessels. infected sperm in the eye is the same as infected sperm in a open wound. HIV etc., infection if very easy.
But once her first shoot comes out, all her privacy is inexorably thrown out the window, and it won't matter if your pages are locked down or not. Me personally, it gets on my nerves because I try to request your girls to producers, and because you don't have a forward facing page for the girls, I don't have a link to a page of photos, I just have to tell them to go look her up at your site.
