Just wondering, out of curiosity. Or do the directors simply choose who's available? Are there any days for male actors when they feel shitty and just don't want to get their dicks sucked? Or when they just feel fed up with it all? Lol, maybe abit of a silly question, I know...

I've read that the contract girls have lists of who they will and won't do.

As far as male actors go, not wanting to get their dick sucked might put them in the unemployment line.

I didn't mean it like that but I think we've all at some time felt as if we couldn't be bothered to go into work. Surely there are times when men must also feel abit fed up of getting their dicks sucked?

Having watched some of my favorite stars fuck really creepy guys... I do hope that they have some say in it. Either they had no choice... or those creepy guys actually are ok persons and the girls were comfortable with it. Who knows, they might have turned down even creepier guys...

I would imagine ( and hope) that the female performers have veto power over who they will be working with. However using that power would get a performer labeled as unreliable. Same as in the real world.

Legend has it that Ginger Lynn and Tracy Lords couldn't fuckin' stand each other. Yet there they were, licking each others' pussies like champs. God that's friggin' hot.

Talent may set up a "No List" with their agent. It is the agent's duty to confirm who the talent will be working with and check that against the "no list"
When someone calls an agency to book talent, the booker will ask what type of scene and who the other talent will be.

I generally let the female talent choose whom they want to work with.

This works well for me since I do not shoot extreme scenes, and that way the female performers will give a more erotic/romantic looking performance, which is what I am after.

The people who join my web site or buy my movies are there primarily to see the female talent. Fortunately, the girls usually select good looking guys.

This also works well for performers that will only work with their bf/spouse.

Sometimes a performer can have input, sometimes not. You can always say no, but it may mean losing the scene.

Plenty of times I didn't know who I would be cast with until I showed up at the set. Some times I would be told who the scene was with when it offered to me. Other times I was asked if there was anyone I'd like to work with and they would try to cast him. Only twice did I actually get cast with someone I had asked to work with.

I have heard, but never confirmed, that more powerful performers (those in high demand, those with contracts) have much more control over who they work with.

Kimi,

What you describe is exactly what I expected the situation to be.

Is it weird from your perspective to show up and then fuck a guy you may have never met? Or just generally to fuck who ever you are told? I ask because it is such the opposite of how hooking up works in "real life."

Thanks for your perspective.

No, it's not weird. It's my job. It would be weird if I showed up and someone told me to go make an emotional connection with my co-worker and then make love for an audience. That is definitely not my job.

I don't know much about hooking up in the usual social way. From what I've been able to tell, most adults meet someone a few times then have sex then continue or end the dating relationship. I'm not sure 3 dates tells you any more about a person than 3 minutes. So perhaps more adults are effectively having sex with strangers than anyone wants to admit.

I need to point out, again, than genital to genital contact, in the performing context, is really nothing like having sex in your personal pleasure context.

Every performer can deny to work with somebody she or he don't like. If somebody is really picky it reduce work for her or him.

I usually book the guys first, because there are so few guys I like to shoot and so many wonderful girls to choose from. The only guys I ever shot are Brandon Iron, David Perry, Erik Everhard, Franco Roccaforte, Frank Gun, Ian Scott, Jean Yves LeCastel, John Strong, Kid Jamaica, Manuel Ferrara, Michael Stefano, Mike Adriano, Mr. Pete, Nick Lang, Robert Rosenberg, Toni Ribas, Zenza Raggi and me. Paired up with 210 girls so far.

Well, that is definitely true. Most of the people that a given person fucks are essentially strangers.

However, the thing that is different is the element of choice. When I fucked a stranger (before I was married) it was always a stranger that I picked out and who also had picked me out.

It's the lack of attraction and that special feeling that makes it seem strange to me.

What your comments remind me most of though is the way that proponents of arranged marriages speak. Perhaps porn has more in common with arranged marriage than anyone realized.

Do you believe this lack of an emotional connection within the confines of porn sex helps illustrate the attraction of many to the likes of psychological porn like meatholes and gratuitous selfish debasement and abuse a la Max Hardcore? Your indifference, whether intentional or not, may be seen as a challenge to some viewers.

What you describe sounds a lot like a Comstock film, by the way, which is sort of the paragon of the "sex between people who actually like each other" model, so far anyway.

There's some dude nicknamed Shrek that many starlets refuse to work with. That's what led to Lucy Lee getting kicked off the set of JM productions. Anyone know his name?

I read the anecdote below a while ago, forgot the original source but found it again on the Mr Marcus forum:

Amber Peach's Bad Day On Brian Pumpers' Zero Tolerance Set

I call her Wednesday afternoon. 3:40pm.

Amber: "I got there at 9:30am. I got my make-up done. I drove an hour to the location [near to Malibu]. Then I find out that instead of me working with Mandingo, Mandingo's cancelled and Brian Pumper's working with me.

"I don't work with Brian Pumper. I told him this. 'I can find somebody else to do the scene.' I start calling people. I find somebody to do the scene.

"He starts freaking out. Taking it personal. 'I don't understand this. I never have problems shooting with somebody. I can do double anal.'

"I'm like, it doesn't matter what you can do. I only work with certain guys [she has a list of six black men she works with].

"He's screaming at me. He has this big house. I was the only thing booked today. He canceled the scene. Totally being a child about it. I tried to explain to him that it's not personal. I only have a few people I work with. I do have somebody who's willing to come out here and take this scene.

"He's screaming at me about various stuff that has nothing to do with the scene. Talking about me and relationships with other people.

"It's already 2pm when this happens. I'd been there all day waiting for him to get his s--- together. He ran out of gas on the way to the set.

"He didn't even want to tell me that he was working with me. He didn't tell me that right before we started pretty girls [still shoot], and I asked him, where is my talent? He said, oh, you're working with me.

"It would've been nice to have known.

"Then he didn't want to pay me my kill fee. I don't doubt that LADirect is going to get me my kill fee."

EVERYONE should have the possibility to choose with who they´re working.

If once agreed, ( and someone else shows up ) , it´s not the problem of the talent.

Ditto that! I am also of the same sentiment as BigMatt:

"Having watched some of my favorite stars fuck really creepy guys... I do hope that they have some say in it. Either they had no choice... or those creepy guys actually are ok persons and the girls were comfortable with it. Who knows, they might have turned down even creepier guys..."

But it's also a kind of turn-on to see a chick fuck a guy you wouldn't usually expect her to do!
