90% of gonzo you bring your bag of hooker gear and the director picks what he wants you to wear you are responsible for owning a varity of whatever he wants. its one of those expenses most people dont factor in when they go on about how rich we are
I have only worked on a few things (JUles Jordans ass worship and Hustlers take it black) where waredrobe was provided in both cases I had to leave it
You're not wrong there... my clothing bag is one of my biggest expensise, (after paying tax in 2 countries on the money I earn.) Gonzo directors rarely purchase the girls clothing of any discription. And if you're a performer who engages in the more 'frantic' style of action, almost always my clothes get too ripped/dirty/broken to ever wear them again. So for every scene the cost of your clothes comes out of the mony you earn.
Jules and Van are sweethearts. I like their wardrobes and getting to see different girls in them.
What exactly would you do with a skimpy policewoman's outfit anyway? If it's any consolation you filled that thing out just as well as Ayana and Jada did. Bubba Sparxxx would've been proud.
I didn't think the girls considered their bag o' random porn clothes such an expense. I understand you get given an idea of what to bring and you try on various different things for the director once you arrive (anyone who's bothered to watch the BTS of any DVD can tell you this) but the clothes themselves don't look like they cost terribly much. I'd say the most costly item would have to be shoes. I've seen you girls bring some MEAN and elaborate heels to sets. I'd hate to leave'em behind.

I do have a skimpy cop outfit though, its covered in sequins stripper gear! normally when they book they give you an idea its usually "street ware" "young girl" "lingerie"
It is absolutely unneccesary to be incorporated to write off business expenses. It may offer other benefits, but these may not be offset by the ongoing costs of incorporation. Consult a tax advisor.
Man Jules does an "AMAZING" job with the clothing decisions for his movies. I would hope the girls got to keep some of that stuff.

I could not care less about lingerie. My turn on is standard issue cotton undies. There's a scene with Kristina Black and Mr Marcus I think it is. Kristina shows up in jeans, t-shirt and the female tighty whiteys. The way she breezily peels out of them and drops them to the floor....stroke central.

I can imagine that it adds up to a hefty penny spent on wardrobe. As a guy (and maybe most non-metrosexual males), I don't shop that often. I'll wear the same shit for years until it wears out. Judging by the glitzy stuff my future sister-in-law likes to wear, esp. shoes, you girls spend a small fortune in working attire.
Girls, on the other hand, gotta have something new for every occasion, much less a porn set. Thank god for tux rentals when it comes time for a wedding, christ!
I was required to be incorperated by Elegant Angel any way, I ahve to 1099 every one who works for me that makes over $600 plus then it shows they are paying a bill not a person when they pay me, it has benifited me though as far as liability goes, if some one gets hurt (God Forbid) or anything and tries to sue Im some what protected by having my private assets seperate
There are a lot of businesses that require all of their independant contractors to be incorporated--mainly because they don't have to issue 1099's for money paid to corporations.
I've noticed in BTS footage that directors don't want them to wear anything they wore in another video, which means that no matter what,each outfit is only good for one scene. I guess some of the girls can sell their used stuff on their websites.

I hate fishnet! Make the women wearing it; look cheap and fat! No class! Please don't wear it anymore because it takes away from your beautiful body and turns it into something that not attractive!
