Click to expand Brandon Iron never took one request for certain girls for the TLP serie very seriously simply because he didn't want to shoot those girls for that serie. He always said those girls are to well known and he only/mostly wants to shoot newcummers. Fair enough I guess because I understand a director will always shoot the scenes/girls he wants not what the fans want. Eventhough that sucks and it's hard to accept I know this is a fact. I mean if we want to control that more we should become directors ourselves and shoot the porn we want with girls we want. Of course sometimes you get lucky like my request to Juan Cuba about casting Trina Michaels in a volume of Alone in the Dark. Maybe he was planning to do that anyway since she's only the hottest girl in porn but I like to believe I helped him with that ;-) [Link]

Fine. That's your right. You've complained ad nauseum with enough volume as if I dropped an anvil on your feet. I am sure that listening to you would have made me a commercial success and that I would not have faced the reality of selling the movies for as little as $3. As astute at mathematics are you are, of course, you'd realize that: Selling a movie for $3 minus being charged $1 per disc ($2 for a double disc set) minus the cost of the packaging/insert less the distribution percentage (25%) equals a situation that stinks worse than socks that haven't been changed in a week. Factor in the costs of making the movie, editing (unless you do it yourself), dvd insert graphic design, printing, dvd authoring and replicating. I have bigger things to worry about than disappointing you, don't you agree? [Link]

I will never forget one of the most electric experiences in my life with porn, was when Thom Zupko came in here and asked us who and what we wanted for *"Big Wet Asses 4", and when that movie came out, it directly reflected the discussions we had in here. I know that Van Styles has made things based upon our input. Justin Slayer, (via Nevaquit), has made things based upon our input. Jack Napier has made things based upon our input. And I know that the other directors, (Brandon, Chico, Von Swine, Bryan Xin, and others), and publicists, (Graham, Tricia, the people from Smash, the guys from Zero Tolerance, Devils Films, and others), have all been amenable to our ideas and input. Now, please show me a thread where that's the case, here or on any other board. Most threads have maybe a 60/40 split of "Love this" vs. "Can't stand this." More likely, they watch what's selling and then copy it, perhaps with a twist of their own and try to portray it as something new. That's why I get a chuckle out of everyone who talks about how much $$$ can be made in porn versus the "real world." If the porn producers were as rich as mainstream businessmen, you'd see all kinds of new stuff pioneered purely for the artistic ego factor. Instead, they create what offers them the best chance at a return on investment because they NEED the money. [Link]

But really...if you read this forum over a long period of time, you realize it's impossible. There are just way too many polar opposites - People demanding way too many very specific things that everyone else would have no interest in seeing. I just don't think the average smut producer would have the resources to even try.....even if they had the inclination. I also think the average smut producer works for their own reasons. It might be profit or they might have a particular kind of smut they want to make. Whatever it is, in all honesty, they don't have an obligation to make what we want. If we don't like what they make, we don't have to keep buying it. And really, it works out much better if they make what they like. If they ain't digging what they're making, it's (likely) going to be a dull, tedious experience for the consumer (And probably the people making it as well). EDIT - Think of it this way. Imagine a musical cover band on a stage asking the audience if there's anything in particular they'd like to hear. Now imagine there are 15,000 people in the audience and every one of them is shouting the name of a different song. They couldn't satisfy everyone if they played for the rest of their lives. But some you obviously have to take with a grain of salt. For example: Hey Shane's World ... it would be great if you could get Jenna to do interracial double anal in your next movie ... PLEASE!PLEASE! Obviously not possible LOL I think a lot of studios are open to suggestions if they are suggested correctly. So remember to think out your suggestions before email/posting a thread. Two examples: After we request a winking butthole serie, Jaysin released Winkers . After i suggest a different way to administer the enemas in Blow it out your ass Graham and William H release Blow It Out Your Ass 2. Some cases in point: Bobby Rinaldi at Wildlife "always" puts in his productions a message, "let us hear from you, we value your comments," or something close to those words. Falling into the "TRAP," I have written to Rinaldi on two separate ocassions, and have YET to hear from him, or for that matter, seen my request for the women in his "Screw My Husband/Wife" series, to be filmed lighting up and smoking cigarettes during personal interviews, etc as sexy preludes to the sexual action----NADA!! A second example, deals with Pat Myne, aka Danny Case, an adult film director for Third Degree and other companies, whom I visited with in Dallas a little over two years ago, when he was still married to Stormy Daniels, and playing the "gofer" role, during her DYNAMIC feature dance performance at a local gentlemen's club. Between Stormy's dance sets, and over several beers (which I bought for him) I brought up AGAIN, my request, on behalf of the HUGE, and, thanx to the "antis," ever-growing "smokerhood," (the coined term, describing we men, who get a strong sexual surge (a boner) just in seeing ANY attractive, well-built lady, smoking a cigarette. Now, I must admit, that while, I was "encouraged" by Myne's positive response, to my request, for set-up "tease" female smoking scenarios, I know now, Myne, was actually "blowing smoke up my ass," for I have seen quite a few of Myne/Case films since that time, and again, NADA!! Finally, and to illustrate just how HARD I have been working for our smokerhood cause, in addition to Rinaldi, I have written, or visited personally, with quite a few adult film directors, performers, and even, company front-office PR men over the years, and AGAIN, received POSITIVE feed-back, but in reality, VERY LIMITED results?? But, please realize, adult film producers and directors, as well as female performers, do not visit ADT on a regular basis. So, its a "hit or miss," situation, with every post, and maybe, just maybe, one of these "rants" will reach the RIGHT person, and hit the RIGHT chord, and then, my mission will be over, as plenty of extremely sexy, well-built WOMEN, will light-up their cigarettes (and our loins) on a regular basis, in porn, feature film and gonzo screen appearances. I know I've written this many times before here on ADT, but It continues to amaze me, why adult film directors and producers, SELDOM incorporate the cigarette prop, as a most valuable tool to accentuate the sexuality, as well as so many other character traits, of various, female screen characters. Main-stream Hollywood, has used this cinematic technique for decades, especially, with the "femme fatale" persona, and, many of you reading this, surely remember, all those, slick, glossy movie posters, which more often than not, displayed the sexy, female star, dangling a cigarette between her luscious, red lips. To be sure, in recent years, main-screen Hollywood has been influenced by, what I call, the "Smoke Nazis," seeking, with their "jack boots," to stomp out cigarettes all over America, but that influence is NOTHING compared to what has happened with the "steam screen," where the sight of a good-looking, well-built lady, lighting up her cigarette, in some, sexy character role, a behind the scene interview, or in gonzo "tease" scenarios, is more of a rarity, nowadays, than is, two dollar a gallon gasoline!!
