Get some good colognes that you like, bathe well, and then use one of them. That will probably do just as much good. Hopefully you have a g/f or wife that can give you some feedback – “hey, that smells nice!”

Colognes and perfumes (and I’m sure this sex attract cologne) all react with the body chemistry. I have known a ‘brand’ name perfume that smelled different on almost every girl that wore it – but it was the same perfume.

The perfume and cologne market is a funny, complex, multi-billion dollar industry that also makes a lot of money from stroking egos. Try a few until you get a nice reaction, but also don’t forget that it is not just the ephemerons, the person and the personality plays a big part too.
