lately Ive noticed some companies pushing TS videos and lots of interracial, things Im not remotely interested in, does this sell well, am i just a a dinosaur? what do sales say?

I find it odd that you posted the two genres together since they are two very different genres. Also, TS is considered an offensive way to refer to transgender movies.

Transgender movies are considered one of the lowest selling of the genres in adult entertainment.

Steven Grooby, the owner of Grooby Productions, wrote an article So You Want to be a Trans Adult Performer - 2019 Edition that talks about the transgender movie industry. The article is geared towards transgender performers looking to enter the industry; however, it provides insight to viewers as well.

This is an interesting question. The transgender category has exploded. There is nothing to dispute in the Grooby article---it's great. But in terms of Porn with a capital P, covering everything from Snapchats to C4S to cam sites, I'd say transgender porn is a massively larger and more prominent category than ever before. It's a breakdown of taboo, which is a wonderful thing in my mind. I'd say, that you're noticing more interracial movies or sites is another factor of that same trend, a breakdown of taboos. There is no longer anything particularly "edgy" about black performers paired with not-black performers, so it can be shot and marketed freely. The difference between those two categories is that transgender doesn't make much money. Just my thoughts; interested in others, too.

[So-called "TS" or "shemale" or "ladyboy" are longstanding labels still in use today, and for "SEO" reasons at least I don't see them going away anytime soon. But, "Transgender" not only more politely and as a term that transgender people themselves generally prefer, but it's a more efficient categorization as well.]
