When females shouted, males ejaculated 59 percent of the time. However, when females did not holler, males ejaculated less than 2 percent of the time. To see if yelling resulted from how vigorous the sex was, the scientists counted the number of pelvic thrusts males gave and timed when they happened. But people are closely related to monkeys. And perhaps enthusiastic and encouraging yells from the lady also inflame the men and make them have more vigorous sex with her? When the lady looks me right in the eye and hollers at me, while I'm banging her. Then her yells are certainly a compliment to my manhood and an encouragement for me to show her what kind of a man I really am (i.e. bang her harder and faster). But when the lady looks at the wall and hollers at no one in particular. Then who is to say whether she likes it or not? And how is the man to know whether to feel encouraged or discouraged by her yells? Meaningful communication is the key. And this something monkeys seem to be better at than people.
