| ziniaraya Member London 194 Posts 4/03 | I deleted all the cookies after a clean up (although in fact I think this problem may just have predated that clean up). When I first came back in after that, the topics were all unread, which I expected first time round. Since then that aspect is fine, each forum showing read/unread as normal. Actually, I say 'as normal', but one other weird thing (which I noticed now that I have to go into each forum in turn), is that instead of all pink files and the top and then yellow ones at the bottom, it always now seems to throw up the odd pink one in the middle of the yellow ones. As to the other question, the machine always seems to know it's me; when the site loads up it always shows me as logged in. Thanks again for any further thoughts. Z. Edited for typos. | ziniaraya Member London 194 Posts 4/03 | I thought I would give it another go since I am the only one having the problem. Would you Adam and Eve it - this time it duly produced the list of active topics for each forum, all with pink folders as expected. No new posts in Tech Talk tho'. So I went into Tech Talk to advise on the this update. And, lo and behold, Redish has posted a reply (for which thanks). So, why wasn't that in the active topics list then !! I'm not an expert, so I can't say what things necessarily should or shouldn't do, but I know when they aren't doing what they normally do ! Z. |

| ziniaraya Member London 194 Posts 4/03 | The other thing that seemed to be different that Drew mentioned may have indeed been like that for a few months, but with me only noticing it when accessing the forums individually this last couple of weeks. Gents...I thank you. Z. |
