I've recently begun to look for websites similar to ADT for reviews of porn-providing websites. I have found some like rabbitsreviews and thebestporn, but they lack what makes ADT king: lots of disparate individuals writing reviews who don't get paid to do so. Occassionally they get free DVD's but that's it. I still watch DVD's, but recently websites have become the majority source. There's a whole additional list of things to review in addition to the content when it comes to website reviews. Is it a good value? Is the download speed good? If you're paying by minute, does the website include buffering time in your minutes? Plus there's lots of online content that's only online and is never released on DVD. If ADT does not do website reviews, can people tell me their favorite websites for pornsite reviews? Topic Moved by - Drew Black on Jul 7 2008
We don't do website reviews. We've thought about it. Our whole scheme of things focuses on movies. Those moves can be on DVD or VOD/Download. We're simply not setup for website reviews. We considered it a few years ago but there are so many other good sites out there already doing this kind of thing that we didn't think that reinventing the wheel would be a good thing for us.

I've wondered this myself. I think this would be a good thing for ADT to do. It would be a logical expansion of what you already do and would make you even more of a hub for porn-related information on the net.

Also, is this the right forum for posting suggestions like this? I come up with ideas/suggestions for you guys periodically, but I'm not sure where I should post those sort of things, so I generally don't do anything about it.
I've looked at the other pornsite review sites. None of them are as popular as ADT. None of them have the community that ADT has. It's not reinventing the wheel if you just think of the simplest way to fold that into your current review mold. Porn has expanded beyond the DVD. There are stars who make entire careers online now. I've never seen Eva Angelina in anything except online porn, and I think she's the biggest new star out there. Am I wrong or do influential sites like Bang Bros, Reality Kings and Brazzers only release their stuff on their websites and not on DVD? That's the real kicker for me. There's porn that's popular out there that's not on DVD.
yes. some. number of Bang Bros reviews on ADT: 5. number of Bang Bros videos: hundreds if not thousands. I wished that the most diverse and trustworthy porn community online would add this to their mission.
Drew can correct me if I'm wrong but I doubt he'd mind if people who wanted to wrote short reviews of web sites and posted them here. The site isn't set up for it but it's porn so it really isn't any more off topic than George Bush or British politics.

There are a lot of things we'd like to add to ADT. Website reviews is one of them. But it's not our top priority right now. Sure, people can post them in the forum. I'd like a more organized means but there's only so much we can do.

ADT could always just designate a forum category for website review and discussion. If it takes off, enlarge upon it, maybe soliciting short, finite memberships from interested sites.

getting free memberships for reviewers is not a problem. these sites regularly offer that. a separate forum might be the best interim measure. i'll talk to our programming staff ;)
