Lately, I keep getting those stupid dialog boxes that ask me if I'm sure I want to navigate away from a site I've just tried to close. I know there's probably a simple solution that I could find if I searched but I'm at my wits end with it here and just want to make it stop. Does anyone know exactly how I can do it without fucking up the way most sites work?

Annoying, isn't it? What bothers me, though, is that forcing you to interact with the dialogue box offers a perfect opportunity to infect your computer. That's why I typically kill the session when a site pulls that crap on me.

^ Yeah. That's what I usually do too but isn't there a better way?

Not that I know of. Maybe they'll address it in a future version.

usually when using firefox (with tabs) i close the tab. Most of the times it works. If not CTRL-W seems to close those fucking windows . I just hope they have no power to "hijack" the CTRL-W function of the browser and do something bad
