I'm also trying to find the place where anyone said that a guy having sex with a guy "couldn't possibly be enjoying it homosexually." No one said that.
Yeah, we're all perverts of kind or another here, who are we trying to impress? Anyway, this whole political correctness discussion is a diversion. Let's move the the thread back to the original topic rather than open up a new front in the culture wars.
I can't speak for 2bollocks, other than to say what he's referring to is a very real and increasingly common trend, especially in this age of social media where so many people become intoxicated with an inflated sense of their own importance. Also intensifying this trend is the fact we're in an election year, and campaign season causes a rise in grandstanding and virtue signaling, which is rarely more than pandering, and as far as career politicians go, more often than not sanctimonious at best, but frequently, typically hypocritical. Even the president himself has resorted to this kind of hollow bully pulpit nonsense on multiple occasions. However, I hardly get the impression that people here on this forum would have such inclinations to betray their honest feelings. I mean, we celebrate gangbangs and gaping and all kinds of wild freaky stuff. I don't see much to be gained by virtue signaling among this rather healthy and good natured community, modest in size but not modest in speaking our minds. Look at the rigorous debate we had in the James Deen controversy. Maybe some people were being dishonest and just dishing out platitudes to gain popularity points? IDK, I kinda still doubt that. One thing I like about this place is it doesn't seem like anyone is really trying to put on airs, you know? Nobody here strikes me as trying to run for office thank god. lol
To reiterate, I share 2bollocks's skepticism in the broader scheme of things, mainly in the public arena, like Facebook, Twitter, other social media and especially in mainstream corporate newsmedia, but I don't see this community as being so politically inhibited by notions of "wrongthink." We have rules about being decent toward other users, but I think we enjoy a comparatively wider degree of latitude for speaking our minds. Just be civil about it and don't resort to personal attacks, and I gladly welcome hearty debates.
Yeah, I agree we should get back on track. But I didn't read your comment until after my previous 3 posts. Back to my thoughts about involuntary aversion to being made aware of a male performer in hetero porn's prior participation in gay porn, I wanted to add, "for instance, when I first read someone's comment in a Blacked thread referring to Jason Brown having been in some gay porn, I was put off, and admittedly it did taint my appreciation to some degree. Mind you that had absolutely nothing to do with morality or conduct or content of character. There was just a gross factor to it at first for me." BUT imagine if instead of hype over a female's "1st IR" a new highly anticipiated first could be "1st bi" - would that ever take off? Could this actually be the first category where viewers actually care the least about what a guy is doing for the first time? lol Cuz to my knowledge, there is a total lack of interest in male's doing anything for the first time in porn. Not that I'm complaining, but women not only make much more than men as performers in porn, they also apparently have this "1st time" thing monopolized. Probably due to the fact that most recognized males in porn have been around much longer than the average female in porn, and eventually they've all done pretty much everything there is to do. But have they really? I wonder if there's not a market to actually see males explore the sexual horizons, or if there ever will be? Interesting question?

^^^^ I think the problem with trying to get "1sts" added for male performers is that people only care about firsts for established performers and I suspect a lot of male performers have done most of what they're going to do by the time they have any name recognition. Women can burst onto the scene and become a "thing" before they've done everything. I don't suspect that is going to change anytime soon.
It's obviously a different category than "first time [sex act]", but there's the "[girl's] first time with Lex/Mandingo" stuff which is definitely being used to sell movies, and that's as much about those guys as it is about the girls. But sure, guys with that standing are few and far between.
^ Oh yeah, now you mention it. You're right. I noticed those taglines showing up more and more in the last 2 years. Evil Angel has several Lex Steele series going, and I think around 2014 they started adding that to their box covers "Eva Notty's 1st w/ Lex!" TBH it's a fair selling point. I only wonder why they didn't try using those sooner. Interestingly, it's still a female's 1st being touted. Also coming to mind now, ArchAngel has a series called "First Prince" which is all about ladies' first times with Prince. As for Mandingo, it seems the main objective of all his headlined series, they give priority to females who haven't been shot with him before. Jules Jordan has done a great job with casting and getting females their first crack at him. Sometimes there is a rematch, but usually it's a new pairing. But if I look back at the original Mandingo Massacre run (#s 1-8) I don't remember seeing "so-and-so's first time with Mandingo" on the box. Something it seems would behoove producers nowadays to point out. I think consumers are becoming more and more savvy, with resources such as this forum and IAFd. Still, I'd like to see something like "Moe Johnson's 1st time with TS" featuring (insert your suggestion here). Or what I'd also really like to see is a BGTS scene, boy+girl+TS, e.g. Rob Piper + Riley Reid + Natalie Mars.
Notable male performers in mainstream hetero porn though? Could you think of any examples? Maybe we need a thread on this. We have a 1st time IR thread, and is that really as remarkable? I mean I love IR but more and more lately what's more important to me than a female's 1st IR is really if she's genuinely bangin, and can put in a passionate performance. 1st-IR takes a backseat to a top quality IR romp that's just pure fire IMO. Jada Stevens and Anikka Albrite, along with Riley Reid and so many more really prove just how much more important quality is over technicality.
I would guess that among gay porn fans, many of them would be very interested in the "1st's" of some of the big name straight performers if they were to ever crossover.
^ Did the Rocco Reed move a few years ago make significant waves? I recall his PR agency trying to present it as such, but I have no idea if it actually resonated with the fanbase.

Nope. About the rest, personally I've never cared much about first IRs in and of themselves. That a pornstar is now shooting IR is a good thing, but that a scene is their "first" carries no inherent excitement for me.

I can't imagine anything like that happening in the near future. It would be wonderful if I were wrong, but I don't see it happening. What I can imagine is that some of the guys in straight porn are hooking up with trans pornstars off set. Unfortunately, when it comes to what they'll do onscreen it's a different story. I wonder if Jules Jordan would ever greenlight production on something like that. Evil Angel produces trans content, right? I know JulesJordanVideo doesn't really do that, but I want to say that not long ago Jules did approve his JJV banner on some trans DVD. That may have been solely for distribution deal though. I agree that it is highly dubious he would start shooting crossover+trans content for his site, but maybe he could launch another site, like he has AssFactory as a separate site? IDK. I guess the more important question is, since we have heard Nikki Benz go on record to estimate that about 3/4 of males in porn are bi if not gay, not whether which performers are willing to do it, but which studios are willing to produce such content. There may actually be plenty of performers willing to do it, but producers shy away from it to protect their brands? Maybe someone can venture into this with a new brand? What still disappoints me is the idea that we have to have individualized or segregated categories. I'd like to see it all mixed in with the general content I like from studios like Jules Jordan Video and Arch Angel and HardX. I'd love to mix them all together.

^I doubt that there are many boys in hetero porn who are willing to shoot with trans women. Offscreen is a different issue. It's notable that we don't see a lot of mainstream black guys participating in full contact cuckolding scenes like Jason did. Why not? Those scenes aren't about same sex attraction to the male cuck, yet they're avoided anyway. Edited by - misspornUSA on 9/13/2016 10:18:26 AM

^^Evil Angel is a major mainstream distributor of trans porn, and in light of how popular trans porn has become I could see mainstream producers starting new sites dedicated exclusively to trans porn. I wouldn't expect them to bring in mainstream male talent though.
I can't speak for those black male performers who actively avoid full/oral same-sex contact in cuckold scenes, but for me personally the biggest problem is the cucks are often very unattractive. I mean, especially that one guy who always shows up in cuck porn. I'm sure he's a nice enough guy, but he's just doughy. These guys don't even deserve the BBC. I get that they are not supposed to want it, and it's supposed to be more of a "punishment", but we know they're into it. That's why I can't get into virtually any of these cuck scenes in terms of how porn has misappropriated the term. Usually the acting is so bad it just ruins the whole concept and the cucks just end up being a distraction. I like cheating wife scenarios. Those are hot. But pro-porn companies fumble with full blown cuckold themes too often. It never feels convincing that it's anything other than a hired gay/bi guy who clearly wants the dick, but as I said before, few of them appear to deserve it. It's lazy. Maybe if the cuck was more attractive and the scripting of the sequence was more professional, a la Blacked, they could do it right. But perhaps I complicate matters with my picky taste in with regards to who would make an ideal cuck, because I want them to be pretty and feminine, or at least androgynous to some degree. But males like that either scarcely exist or are evidently in short supply in porn. Considering how poorly executed the vast majority of cuckoldry scenes are in porn, it's hard for me to blame the studs who are averse to doing those. And I have nothing against the humiliating aspects of it at all. I get the kink of that. I just think pro-porn has almost never conveyed the carnal conflict properly. There's some really hot amateur couples who do a far better job. What do you think about the looks of a cuckold? Do they matter? Seems to be a blind spot for porn producers because while they always try to maintain high standards of attractiveness in the main male and female talent, with cucks it seems there's pretty much no standards. And yeah, before anyone else points it out, I realize part of the point of cuck porn is to show how comparatively unattractive and unappealing the cuck character is versus the wife's lover. I understand that in general cheating-wife scenarios. It makes a lot of sense, cuz the wives are so hot, and they're usually stuck with hubbies who have let themselves go, or old wrinkly sugar-daddies. So I get why the cucks in those scenarios are unattractive. But for those full-on bi/gay contact cuck scenes, it doesn't make sense for them to wrangle the ugly sloppy tubby hubby. Major turn off! lol Edited by - Melvyn on 9/13/2016 5:39:13 PM
I take an interest in this because I like both gay and straight porn. I watch both for the men. And I have researched the activities of the straight guys to see who has done gay and straight. So many have done both. Some of the best and most popular straight performers have had a cock in them or their cock in a man. I love it! I really enjoy straight male performers the most, though. I don't care what they've done as long as they can fuck that pussy for the camera. I have my favorites, but really just love them all. Some in particular, Ryan Madison, Seth Strong, love showing their ass as they fuck and they drive me crazy. Also, Steve Q and Nickolas both love showing their asses when they fuck beautiful women. I pay for that kind of action. I don't think the straight side caters much to me but I think there a lot of guys like me and it could be exploited for $.
