My last two orders from Lasersedge came from Brussels airport in Belgium. Can someone from Lasersedge confirm that they are now useing a Redirection Service in europe? That would be great, cause all mail inside the european union isn't checked by the customs and so I don't get in trouble through the adult status of the shippings!
I've noticed on my Lasers Edge packages (I am in the UK) that there is a stamped mark from Frankfurt in Germany. It could just be that transatlantic post comes into a central location like Germany or Brussels and is then sent on it next hop to the actual destination. But that's just a guess.
There is still the little green customs stickers on, and they aren't used on packages sent within the EU.
My last package had the Frankfurt stamp as well. It also had a US Postal Service green customs sticker and a stamped return address in Carmel, Indiana so it was clear that it originated in the US.
Not sure how this affects the customs import tax situation (which is an EU thing), but UK customs can check anything coming into the country for 'undesirable' content.
Just to let everyone know, we were using DHL WORLDMAIL. But due to some unforseen problems of recent we will be switching back to a US Sorting Facility. They have told us we will now have 7-10 day delivery again. This will take effect tomorrow. They should begin to have US postmarks starting with tomorrows shipments.
I just received my first order from Laser's Edge untampered. It took 22 days to arrive (i'm in Manila, Philippines). Just a suggestion to Laser's Edge... please ship the DVD's more discreetly atleast wrap it w/ bond paper/news paper. Good thing, It was'nt inspected by customs but I paid tax and sign something that I received the package from the mailman and he told me "what is this? bold?". Im just shock and speechless... how come that he knows the content.Laser's Edge only uses Deutsche Post but it does'nt mean that it came from Germany, so don't be confuse instead... look on the return address w/c is Carmel, Indiana.
in what relates to me, I ordered 3 DVD on February 7, 2003. I received 2 from them.3rd has just arrived this Tuesday April 8.The product is normally available into 2 or 3 days.
Thus 2 months of waiting for only one DVD. The dvd is not that which I had asked. that belonged to the same series of the "leisure time" but it is not that one.
Epstyl: Some movies from some companies take a long time before they're back in stock, for example, I'm still waiting for 'There's Something about Jack 22' which I ordered on 2/6/2003, it still has a "Back-Order" status. So I think you should look at the dates of when you ordered and the date when they actually ship your order.
I'm glad Laseredge is taking steps to improve their shipping. I don't like to order from companies who I can't trust.
ramsey: the problem is: it is not the dvd which I ordered. 2 months of waiting for that.it is all.
if you want to be satisfied with the prices, the availability and the carriage costs: ACTION DVD on this site, it is available in 24/48 hours or then in 1 or 2 weeks. But it is indicated. it is not the case at laseredge!!!
I don't like ActionDVD because of their high shipping prices and did you write Laseredge about getting the wrong DVD? I wonder what their policy is in this case. I once got a wrong DVD from AdultDVDEmpire and I had to send it back but I had to pay for the shipping costs.
I am very sorry for the mix up. I have credited your account for $9.94, that is $7.95 plus $1.99 shipping. Please use this amount to reorder the title you wanted or for another title. And please keep the wrong item as a gift for the mix up.
I hope this is an acceptable solution.

Nothing with saying.it is the commercial spirit of laseredge.congratulation.
I am not certain that ACTION DVD is as expensive as that. It is often found in the first 4 places when a title is sought. and the carriage costs are not so expensive only that:10$75 per 8 dvd. if you finds that expensive!!!
on the other hand at ADULTEMPIRE,all is inaccessible.
But who are the best runners-up? Sometimes LE doesn't have a title, and I want to find a backup shop that sells what I want and still has the two features above.
From the looks of the International shopping guide thread, there are a few shops that are cheap-ish and have reasonable shipping costs. But does anyone know of any other US shops that are also customs-declaration friendly?
I'd say adult dvd today I can't believe no-one else has tried it. They have a large selection, (most of which is available) and the shiiping is only about $4.95. I got my dvds's in 4 days!
