Just to clarify, for any of us who might not be mathematically inclined, a 4.5 inch girth is equivalent to a 1.4 inch diameter. I've seen these "average" sizes vary so much from one source to another, though, that I've begun to seriously question whether authoritative statistics exist. And frankly, no, I don't think it matters unless you're very small or very large (in which case you simply have to be more creative, and that's not a bad thing).

I can't speak from experience having only ever owned the one penis, but I wonder if penis size for women is the same as breast size for men.

To elaborate: when a man sees a huge pair of breasts he wants to play with them and most men will openly state this (especially to their nearby friends). If you ask the guy if he'd like his wife to have such monstrously sized titties he'd probably not seem so keen. I wonder if similarly a lot of women would like to try a 9,10 or even a 12" cock but the reality of having their innards bashed with it night in and night out for the rest of their sexual life might not be so appealing.

I think Lindi had it about right in that earlier article - most guys have 6" and 6" works well for most purposes to which it may be put, but as she says, if a guy could choose it would be too tempting not to go for the 8" model just to leave a bit in reserve!!
