I recently joined this site after long contemplation and hearing a few good reviews from others. One thing I did not know was: They cap the amount you can download and basically ban you for 1 week (which I did not know in advance and 1 week out of a 1 month membership is a considerable amount of time.) I then proceed to email them per their request to prove I was not a "bot" or whatever you want to call it and that I was just an average Joe downloading the material I joined the site for. When I join a site, I expect to download content to my hard drive to later watch on my big screen TV. I don't stream videos because even with a 27" monitor I am not getting what I want. They have yet to return an email after blocking me twice now during this 1 month membership. I download a fair amount because I have an extremely fast connection and I have the room to accommodate a lot of data. What gets me the most is the lack of response on their end. They say you'll have a response within 3 hours. I've never gotten a response.
I can understand if a newer site puts a limit on your downloads like Hookup Hotshot did originally (and did not disclose that to me prior to joining although I now see they've been more transparent and tell you that you get limited downloads based on your membership package.) Now DogFart did no such thing, a lot of their material is available via DVD and I am downloading mostly older content. It's stuff like this that drives me away from joining sites and paying up for the content when they do not deliver. The porn industry bitches about torrenting? Try treating your members/consumers decently and be upfront and accountable when asked. I do not feel guilty obtaining material via torrent if that's the only way I can do so. I truly do believe in supporting an artist/performer/web-site, etc and what not, but treat your customers fairly and at the very least return an email and talk to me about it. I paid for it.
Porn got too greedy and that's what caused some of its downfall. Re-releasing previously released material, lack of new or captivating material, never updating sites or repeating updates and recycling what little material they did have.
I can see DogFart trying to milk another month or two out of me just so I can get what I paid for which is again, older material from performers long since retired. Greed is the downfall of almost every venture and their lack of communication to a paying customer is a rather shitty way to treat someone. At least with Hookup Hotshot, the guy was upfront with me when I asked him about the limits and was very honest and in the end I sided with him and took my month and then parted ways. I might rejoin just because they have excellent content and the webmaster was quick to respond and didn't try to B.S. me about why and what they were doing. Plus their monthly fee is half that of almost every other site out there.
So in essence, DogFart can fuck off and I may try to pursue a refund. A one week ban for downloading too much content?! Then why brag about how much content you have when you cap my access to it and won't explain to me why or try to remedy the situation?
