Doesn't make any sense to me other than the fact that in 5.1 the sound sounds crisper. But I don't see the need for it. This is just me.  [Link] |

Most movies when filmed are not recorded 5.1 therefore when we master the product we do what is called phantom 5.1....It gives the sound the 5 point feel of surround. So any movie that lists digital dolby or AC-3 should give you the feel of what you are looking for. Enjoy. [Link] |
