Hey guys, I asked this question in another post but I want to make a new topic.

I was wondering if there are any movies in existence that feature "dolls coming to life" as the main plot. I'm thinking about girls with really heavy makeup (pretending to be dolls) and then bla bla bla.

Anyone know of one?

Only thing that comes to my mind is an old one, I believe by the title of "Sex World". It was a porn play on the movie West World. The girls were supposedly robots controlled by a central controller to satisfy the fantasies of the participants.

I can't even remember when it came out.

There's Jerome Tanner's Living Doll with Taija Rae among others -- tho it's only available on (gasp!) tape.

Not exactly a doll perhaps, but in "La Marionette/The Marionette" (Marc Dorcel/Wicked) Kate More plays a marionette which comes to life. If you like Dorcel or european movies in general, this is a good one, I think.

There were several porn movies made with this theme in them.
But I can't remember a single title (they are from the eighties).
One with Joey Silvera as a toy soldier having sex with a girl who he has to wind up first (it was better that it sounds).
The other are even fainter memories (after the first 1000 porno's they do start to blend.

Isn't there a scene in F that fits that description with a doll house? It's been so long I can't remember, I may be thinking of the wrong film.

Little Shop of Whores , with Jamie Summers as the doll. This was one of the more memorable and popular films with this theme from the 80s. Mike Horner hams it up again as the lonely guy who discovers the doll.

And yes, there's heavy makeup. That's part of the furniture in an 80s film. I highly recommend.
