Apologies if this has been covered before, but I just can't find it. Please point me to a thread if there is one.
I like interactive movies. Can you advise where I can legitimately download them from. I am happy to pay, but I want a proper ISO image, not a rehashed non-interactive .wmv file.
Any advice or suggestions welcome. (I know I can do something via torrents, but I want something more reliable).

It is my understanding companies do not have the technology to do that at this tme.

An interactive "movie" is, in fact, a number of movies. Your choices determine which movies are played sequentially, thus creating the illusion of one continuous scene. There is no PC based video player that I'm aware of that will recreate that for you.

^Any DVD disc can be encoded into an .iso file, (or more precisely, is made from an .iso file). And the process is reversible: If you have the corresponding .iso file, you can use your computer (equipped with a DVD burner and readily-available software) to "reconstitute" the DVD disc. The reconstituted DVD will perform exactly the same as its store-bought equivalent, both in your computer and your standalone dvd player, complete with the fully functional menu system.
There is no technical barrier to what OP is asking for. If the producers are not offering such a product, it is for reasons other than technology.

^ What you say is true, except that your average DVD consists of more than one ISO file. However, since I'm not aware of any producer selling material in the ISO format other than on DVD, I was addressing the reality of what indy6311 might expect to download.
My fault for the confusion.

Just to complete the picture. There is no need to physically burn a dvd. Once you have decompressed the iso/rar file into it's constituents, there are certainly software players (I have WinDVD) which can play the "dvd" direct from hard disk with no need to burn. I have done this for one or two interactive dvd's downloaded from torrents, but there aren't many out there.
