I was thinking this thread was worthless (including my comment) until Charlotte weighed in with some actual helpful and insightful commentary. Thanks Charlotte!
It wasn't the opinions I was referring to Darrah. It was the incessant ranting that I remember I used to have to talk you down from doing over here. [edit typo] Edited by - killbillvol69 on 6/6/2009 11:36:31 AM

I am amazed how much attention this has started. Like I said I live in a very conservative area, where people get disgusted just mentioning the southern cal industries.

poloprinz, I know there were a lot of smiles (and maybe a couple small giggles) in the scene I just shot for Wicked with Mr. Pete. We had never worked together before and lets just say...I hope we work together again soon. :D Thank you everyone for the positive responses. I just get sick of seeing people feeling sorry for girls in porn or saying they're too pretty for porn, etc. If someone has such a negative view of porn why are they watching it? I hate to think that anyone watches my work and then feels bad about themselves afterward! Charlotte

I cannot say, but even net porn is considered to be terrible.

It is good to know that there are people like you men and women standing up for other peoples rights to view adult material.
When Charlotte's soon to be brother-in-law learned about her work, it was a bit of an issue for him. When we visited them again, we had to pull the same card: "if you think what Charlotte's doing is degrading, why are you *paying* to watch porn?" Adult performers are adults first and foremost. They aren't being paid for their morals, for their political opinions, or even for being particularly nice people. They aren't even being paid to have fun, or have sex. They're being paid to look like they have fun, and have sex. There's no shortage of mainstream actors and actresses playing roles that have nothing to do with their personality or personal feelings. If there's a particular act being portrayed that is obviously consented to (as clearly stated in the model releases) there's no moral justification to declare that so and so act on film should be illegal, so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, and the performer isn't damaged (BDSM enthusiasts know the concept of Risk Aware Consensual Kink.) I enjoy DPs (in video, and in real life), personally, as I enjoy women with voracious sexual appetites, and a DP is an expression of a very powerful, intense desire to be fucked. Thus a scene with a girl who's just there to scoop up an extra hundred bucks just isn't going to do anything for me. John
DP is tame dpp or dap are the new dp in the porn world . I like the hardest shit out there triple threat stuff I like to see the women stuffed . Buts thats just me I wouldnt expect my girlfriend to do it but I get off on it all the same.
Scott, You said you throw DVD's with DP in them away. Can I send you my address ? The whole thing about porn is to see things we cant all do every day. I mean how many movies are their that feature straight missionary position sex, where the guy cums inside the girl ? Like most other people on here, I am not into scat, or violence.

Rights? How about the rights of the performers, mainly the women? What rights do they have? Most of the women don't own their names, most leave porn because of the constant abuse that others turn a blind eye to, most leave porn with less money than when they came into the industry, and many women in ten years time can't shit straight after all the double & triple anal/vaginal scenes. Many are told to do double or triple anal/vaginal or else they'll be blacklisted in the industry as being difficult or costing the agency a kill-fee. I believe Europe tests for more STDs than here in the United States. If a woman says she's been raped even by a CONVICTED rapist, many say she's lying and has ulterior motives. Though saying she's been raped will ruin her career by an industry run by men. Those dorms, which are against the law, are used to lure new porn girls who have no money but then they're raped and beaten by their agents/directors/producers there. And shut the fuck up to anyone who says I'm wrong. You all know I'm right but you're part of the problem and turn a blind eye to anything criminal being done by your own. You wouldn't subject your daughters to any of this. Or maybe you would because many of you are beyond heinous.
and if that's how you feel you're free to not post your preachings here. I'm certain you won't be missed. I'd love to know where you get these assumptions you're passing off as "facts." ^ I'm gonna do myself a favor and turn a blind eye to all your future posts. [Link]

I've never said neither. I like porn if it's done right and everyone knows what's about to be done and in agreement with everything.

Oh yes. We should all talk about how great the industry is and how great pornographers are. They ones who live in luxury while the performers are underpaid, put their health on the line, and scrutinized by society. All while pornographers live in anonymity, drive their sports cars, and send Junior to private school.
@Darrah: don't you fucking dare call us heinous. That's totally breaking the etiquette, and you know it. Voicing your opinion is one thing. Spewing horrible insults at people you've never met is another. Don't pretend you don't know the difference, and don't try to hide behind "I'm just saying the truth, too bad if you don't like it" or any bullshit like that. The rules say don't insult other posters... so don't insult other posters. It's simple. Got it?

Aren't you a civilian? I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about the directors, producers, agents, executives, ......... and so on that abuse their power. There would be more women in porn that truly loved their job if they weren't abused and run out of the industry.
Yes I was going to respond too but then thought better of it. This poster is just trying to provoke a reaction and argument. Best thing to with such unreasonable types is ignore them

This is a fine example of what happens when people with no sense of humor start posting on porn forums. BTW from my dealings with Darrah on another forum I can tell you that she is not looking for a reaction. It's just that she interprets everything literally which leads to stuff going over her head like a fly ball hit to Manny Ramirez.
Maybe if you would calm down a bit and take the time to explain what the hell you're talking about instead of lashing out and assuming everyone knows what you mean, people would be more willing to listen to you. For my part, I'm not part of the industry at all and some of this stuff you're on about, I've never heard anything about. You sound completely off your rocker from my perspective. I don't discount the possibility that abuse happens but somehow, I can't get my mind around the idea that it would be deliberately institutionalized the way you seem to be implying that it is by an industry that would seem to have every reason to avoid that at all costs.
Why, because I have no desire to respond to unreasonable people? Internet "trolls" are pathetic. Maybe you want to amuse yourself and spend time like that. Not me This might amaze you but some of us post on porn forums to talk about porn.
No better first post than on a thread about a nice cold Dr. Pepper. DP is probably my favorite thing in porn. I always look at the girls who do DP as slightly better than the rest of their peers. It's all personal preference. To me it seems like the woman is getting off more and I just like seeing chicks get railed. Again, that's just me. I know at least 2 women personally that are extremely curious about DP and they credit porn for it. Hell, I'd participate in a DP scenario because I think it'd be hot. Nothing really gay about it, the focal point is the woman. But "amen" to whoever said there were good and bad DP scenes. I fucking hate a wasted DP with a star I otherwise enjoy.

Well, actually I was referring to both Darrah and scott12 or whatever his name/number was. The Manny Ramirez reference was definitely aimed at Darrah though.
To keep on topic, the best DP's i've ever seen (not much into them, though i won't turn a scene off) were with Vanessa Lane, one where she did a full split while being DP'ed (She Takes Two forgot which number) and another one where she took a standing DP but kept her legs straight in a spread eagle (best way i can describe it) while in the air. Great visuals. Though she couldn't keep the split going for long as she was getting handled right. Side note, I don't think less of stars that don't do DP (or anal for that matter) The Resident Gamer/ComicNerd
