I would show you a screen shot...
When using either the quickie or the multiple image uploading page I can select a picture, it seems to get uploaded, a virus scan happens and my pic passes. But there is no code for displaying the image in a post and it never made it to my file area.

What browser are you using? I just uploaded this image.

BTW, I don't see any recently uploaded images from your account.
I'd have to look at the code I wrote for the uploader but I think it will automatically delete them from our end if it thinks the image contains a virus.
BTW, I see the image server automatically rebooted today after applying some windows updates. If by chance you were uploading files at that time you would get strange results.

If you saved that image in the serial killers thread by doing a right-click-> save as and used the default filename of click.asp you would have problems. We don't accept uploads of asp files, only JPGs.

Thank you. I didn't think to check the file type.
By the way what image did you post above? Are you building a roll cage?

Cool, for some reason that car looks familiar, I think Steph might have posted pictures of it with it's top on...
Do you do any of those 4x4 off roading type sports like trying to get your car to climb up a huge rock covered hill?

Nah, no rock climbing. Maybe I would have done that when I was younger.
Yes, it's the same Cruiser Steph posted a while ago.
I'll take it off-road, just not on the crazy stuff.

can I ask about image uploading here? Or is that derailling?
I tried to upload an avvy, but it seemed to hang... is it unwritten somewhere that animated avvys aren't allowed???

Animated avatars should be converted on our end to the first frame of the animation. We don't allow animations. I think it's written somewhere. I'll check.

To the right side of the avatar uploader in your profile there's a block of text that reads:
I guess I should update that to say we don't accept animated files, though the software is supposed to convert an animated image to a JPG. I need to test that at some point to see why it's not working or at least why it's not reporting an error.

"I guess I should update that to say we don't accept animated files"
Or change it so that animated avvy's are allowed...
Thanks for the 411

That's not an option. I absolutely hate going to sites with animated avatars. I'd remove all avatars before allowing animated ones.

Would a photoshopped pic of GWB with a nutsack hanging off his chin be against the image policy?

Nope. I'd approve that. The law reads "actual humans". I don't know of any actual humans with nut sacks growing from their faces.
