I know there is a lot of drugs going on in the scene. Male performers use it to increase stamina and female performers to get "loose". But is this something that is already common or is it still not often done? Can anybody tell me a scene where it is obvious the girl used (too much) drugs? Do you think it is ok or should we worry that some girls get drugged too much it can be called abuse?
Because of the nature of this business we are all adult in the industry, and all responsable for ourself. I already sent back home a few talents who came on my set drunk or under drug, it's my policy when I direct a movie. If I have to work as a performer with a girl who needs to get high I would always prefer to cancel my job, I don't want to have the feeling that I abused anyone. Bob Chinn has said that he will not allow people to do drugs on his movie sets. He feels that having drugs on a set gives police one more reason to arrest people. According to Chinn, he flushed John Holmes's cocaine down a toilet during the filming of Prisoners of Paradise. Chinn didn't direct another John Holmes movie after this incident. In Depraved Fantasies 6, Christina Angel comes across like she's on drugs during the gangbang scene with 5 guys. From what I remember, Christina looks like she is sleeping through a lot of the scene.
Luke Ford's site, lukeisback.com, had a write-up from the set of Acid Rain's "I Like Em in Pigtails." Jessica Sweet kept drinking beer after beer during her scene. She explained that she is normally a very boring person and routinely gets drunk or tipsy for her scenes because it's the only way she can loosen up.
I don't what to think about that, though it does explain her bizarre over the top behavior in "Teens Revealed 3." For some reason I don't feel strongly about a girl being a tad tipsy for a scene but I'm not comfortable with them having used heavy drugs before a scene.
Is it true that female porn stars or gay male porn stars use the straw cocaine trick for anal sex? Surely it's better without drugs. Drugs numbs, aneasthetises things. Why do something you can't feel? I don't get it.
Her scene in Teens Revealed 3 is one of the few I haven't seen from her... Was she really that over the top that she came off stoned or drunk?
Being completely sober and a non-smoker, I don't like to think about these things, although I am completely realistic that it does go on, and may even be common.

I'm sure the adult industry has quite a few folks that use drugs to help them cope with the stresses of their lifestyle. And if the stories about Taylor Rain are true, she has to be the biggest pot head the porn world has ever seen! You are 100% correct when talking about ingesting or taking a drug. But the anal cocaine trick of which I think lemonaid was speaking is where someone blows cocaine out of a straw into a stars gaping anus.

Drugs are a problem with the new girls comming into porn it seems as porn has gotten harder they've turned to using drugs to shut down their minds to what they are doing which I find sad. You'd be suprised the young new starlets with a coke problem. I just don't hire them once I hear they are doing drugs I want someone who enjoy's their work not a performer who has to get high to forget their work.
The local anaesthetic properties of cocaine don't last that long and what's your local drugstore improves upon it in price/performance for numbing things. There probably aren't many experienced male performers with massive amphetamine/stimulant problems(11-day dissapearances from the face of the planet, booting coke in parking lots to run errands or work,etc.) due to impotency associated with it. Girls can pull it off for a few months, but tweakers eventually stop showing up to anything save their dealers and cooks. Porn seems very un-smack, some pills, some speed, lots of pot and booze compared to say, mormon missionaries. But working penises, showing up at least every other shoot to avoid blackballing, and the fact that your looks go to shit not sleeping and taking care of yourself means I doubt there are lots of people banging stuff with needles or deviating their septums who have been in the business more than 6 months.
Lots of people are clueless about the drugs they use, that's either an attempt to be an american badass or someone needs to explain the virtues of lidocaine, benzocaine, etc. that come in gels that last a few hours for 5 bucks. Seriously though, it is scary when you are set to work, and you KNOW your partner for the scene is not coherent. It happened only one time with me, and it was an easy scene.
