One comment is this: no one but a sadist or masochist really likes to watch a dry fuck. If it looks like it's hurting the lady, and uncomfortable for the guy, with him stretching and pulling at her labia in an awkward, amateurish way, ever time he tries to push in . . . well, gee. Anyone who actually enjoys sex will find that distracting, amateurish, and basically inept and stupid. If you're filming a dry fuck, then please, stop the cameras, and add a little lubricant ... please? If not for the audience, then at least for the lady? And when it's time to edit a scene, find someone who understands rhythm, and knows how to dance, and who wants to create a good video that also knows how to dance. Then tell that editor to keep the rhythm going, during each and every sex scene. When the scene cuts from one shot to another, then synchronize the two shots, in terms of where the guy is, in his stroke. If he's pushing in in one shot, and then the edited scene jumps immediately to him almost finished pulling out, it really disrupts the rhythm, the smoothness, and the "feel" of the scene. All the editor needs to do, to avoid that problem, is to move a few frames forward or backward, while connecting the two different shots, to synchronize the timing and rhythm of the two different shots. If he'll do that one simple thing, it will really help the scene move and flow more smoothly, and more convincingly. Based on how many adult videos I've seen that ignore and violate both of those points, I have to assume that it must be really, really hard for a lot of porn producers to understand those two concepts. But, if they would just keep working at it, and talk it over with some actors, directors, or video viewers until they actually understand those two points, there really could be a better class of adult videos. As for me, what's out there today has such a depressing sameness that I've started making my own private DVD's, with favorite scenes from favorite videos. So, I'm pretty much just plain ready to leave, and quit renting or buying. As more people learn how to do that, and as the software and DVD burners keeps getting cheaper, the people who make adult videos are either going to have to make better products, or they're going to lose more and more sales to people who find other ways to get (or create) what they want.
