I hope International Shopping is the best place for this, since it concerns mainly an online shop you may have used. I myself have ordered from them: h++p://www.thexxxshop.com They are in Holland.

Having been happy with their service before, I recently placed another order with them but to my surprise I have not recieved the expected e-mails to confirm my order is really being processed and dispatched (before this all happened, within two days the order was sent everytime). But this time all I've got is the initial automated confirmation (which is just a copy of what I ordered).

So being somewhat concerned I investigated a little and have discovered some worrying facts.

Since I only speak English some of the details I'll report may be incorrect because I'm relying on computer translations but I'm pretty sure the main points are right.

Anyway, the facts seem to be that about two years ago, the head of DAEC (Dutch Adult Entertainment Company), who are the company behind thexxxshop.com (and other sites), was arrested in Brazil for paying a Canadian photographer to photograph very young girls in the nude and doing watersports for a website. He and another Dutch man were imprisoned for 7-10 years.

Well that was ages ago like I said but what seems to have happened in the past week in Holland a TV documentary, Zembla, reported this case within the more general topic of Brazillian child prostition/sex tourism.

And what's more it seems at some point recently also the two Dutch men have been granted passports and returned to Holland as free men. There seems to have been a general outcry about why this was allowed to have happened, but I haven't been able to verify the details myself. The point is the Brazilian police want them extradicted back to Brazil but the Dutch government haven't done it.

I might as well say here the DAEC man is called Jerry Kabbedijk. Now his wife Carolina has also been named as working for DAEC. Which I can verify as her email address was used to send me confirmations of my orders being sent on to the credit card processing company.

So I am wondering if thexxxshop have shut up shop in the last week and orders are not being fully processed. One suspects Carolina may have been keeping a low profile recently (along with her husband no doubt). One Dutch message board I found at www.prikpagina.nl seem to have some posts about people willing to hunt the couple down.

Perhaps anyone who speaks Dutch or has recently ordered from thexxxshop can enlighten me. I would like to point out that I certainly do not think thexxxshop has been dealing in child porno, rather a good selection rare Euro flicks and the like. Still, I am unwilling to contact them right now.
