To celebrate their participation in our Kickback Program, DVD Advantage is offering a free DVD (randomly selected) with every Kickback redemption. To start earning Kickbacks create a Kickback profile. Then add any item to your comparison cart on our site, doesn't matter if you're even going to buy that particular item. Click on Total Order Cost from the cart view, and then click on the Kickback button below the store you wish to order at (DVD Advantage or Five Star.) You can alter your cart all you want once you've gone through that link. But if you leave the store in between clicking on the kickback link and making a purchase you will not get credit. If you make a purchase then it's recorded under our Kickback Program affiliate code. We don't get much information from the store regarding the purchase. We get the order number, date, amount and unique tracking number. That's all we need to track any purchases back to a Kickback profile. (If an order is subsequently cancelled the affiliate reports reflect that as well.) The Kickback transfer mechanism and affiliate reporting system was designed to specifically address privacy concerns voiced early on when we first launched the program. Since all transactions go through a randomly assigned unique ID there is no need for exchange of any personal information between ADT and a store (and vice versa). The only information we need on this end is a valid email address and a way to track purchases to that email address. I hope this answers your question. I know it might be a bit more than you were looking for but I figured people would like to know what's going on behind the scenes in the program to make it all work.
