Considering most of the people who post and read on these boards probably own giant adult DVD collections, I thought this would be the perfect place to post something I just discovered with one of my DVDs.
My "Where The Boys Aren't 14" DVD from Vivid (purchased 2002) strangely could not be read by any of my DVD players last night. I was surprised at this and examined the DVD surface under bright light, but found NO scratches as expected since I keep all my DVDs in pristine condition. Upon further examination, I took a flash light and shone the light on the DVD surface at an angle and found what I consider to be the cause of this DVD to be unreadable. I discovered spots and blotches underneath the first plastic (?) layer of the disc.
Has anyone else experienced this or know what's going on here? I've read that layers can become unglued and this might be the case, but I'm not sure. Am I entitled to a replacement DVD because of this defect? Thanks in advance for any advice.
