once again I question the longevity of dvd as a storage medium for our much treasured porn collections.
I had a dvd which although protected in clingfilm which erodvd always do, had a long scratch and dents on the playing surface, needless to say when played, it froze and
would not continue.

on inspection this was not a deep scratch in fact I have cd's worse than this which play fine.

why can't companies burn the information deeper inside the disc or make much tougher discs, I still believe that whilst dvd is far superior to vhs it isn't anywhere near as tough. of course it never degrades in quality but can we say with any real confidence that we can handle our dvd's with kid gloves everytime, after all we are all only human and accidents do happen, not to mention normal day to day
usage.

another point marc dorsel/wicked pictures are "macrovision protecting" their dvd's against copying, on a porn dvd!!!
whatever next.

I usually copy the original dvd onto a vidtape for storage purposes in case the dvd gets damaged, as far as I know
iam not infringing any copyright.
