I was hoping to get some info from everyone on the brand of DVD player you have and the problems that you've experienced?
Saki and I were talking in the chat room last night and realized that our Panasonic players are having the same problems. In 2 years, we've both had problems with the optical lens. Thank God I bought the extended warranty!
Anyone else having problems? I want to know what brand to buy next time.

Listen to what I have to say Oneloa
Panasonic dvdplayes are the most hectic players to support. The majority sucks..only their progressive player reigns supreme on top of all in the market (even toshiba!! but toshiba is gonna release hopefully soon Super Progressive!).
I had a A-300 for two years..yeah..two years of dvd crap maniure. I always thought that discs were faulty. How can this be!?! My disc is mint freshly out of the box, and when I play it, it skips jumps, etc. Then I said you know what..dvd is like this. I want DTS so I bought a Toshiba 3109. I could not believe how all my 160+ dvds have never skipped not even once!!! That is amazing! Every every disc has played..except one..a sunshine crappy black title YAWN..
Being that Panasonic, and trust me..my wife had to deal with my cries, that player made my life miserable and it almost caused my marriage to break up. Ok, I'm just kidding there, but that panasonic player is identical to the performance of a Dvd-rom, shitty. Panasonic needed more expertise from the likes of Toshiba and Sony when they made that damn player, but I guess I shouldn't be too harsh because the player I just mentioned was one of the first dvd players to be released.

I just got my DVD player back from Circuit City. It was the same problem I had one year ago. It's the optical pickup. The same problem twice within two years. Thank God I have one more year to go on my extended warranty.
The symptoms were that the movies would start to skip after a while. It would have cost me $145 bucks to fix it without the warranty. That's a total of $290. The warranty was only $68... It better not happen after the warranty expires!!!
Is it just Panasonics????
I'm just glad I have my player back. Whoo hoo... I can watch porn again!!!
