Hi All
Just wondering about something .
Everynow and then I order a DVD and when play it it's so dark I can't see anything and it makes the disk worthless.
Is it the player or is it the dick?
A title I just recieved is Cheerleader Nurses.
I use a DVD player in my Computer to watch these titles.
Any Sugestions

This is hard to give a thought on considering HUNDREDS of porn DVDs sports a crappy picture ala Vivid.

Also..DVD Roms suck for viewing movies...so that is another negative.

:)

YOu take that back this instance!

No seriously, if you are watching on the computer. Software is one issue. And its a toss up between PowerDVD and WinDVD.
Better yet. A dedicated Hardware decoder is for the absolute best in Viewing.

Creative Labs DXr3 is the best that I've seen... Makes it look way better than a Televison. (Average TV.. not Saki's moster Wega Beautiful TV.. )

You can adjust the gamma of your monitor.
A software called powerStrip can also adjust your gamma. PowerDVD has an option of changing the brightness.

second issue is the monitor itself.. curvy monitors are okay.. true flat monitors better..

but as saki said sometimes its the dvd thats crappy.

You're right Evil, I've got a Creative Labs dx3, and the picture is AWESOME! much better than my TV

ok ok ok..please don't punish me!

You are right if using a hardware decoder card..the picture is superior. But I rather use the PC connect to the HDTV display monitor. ;)

I guess I still have bad feelings left about DVDrom..I mean I was quite saddened when it didn't play some porn dvds and Cable Guy the widescreen side. :(
