the only adult DVDs I've bought at a brick & mortar store was the Virgin Records in Chicago...pretty good selection and they had several things for sale....otherwise its strictly online for me.... Best

I only rent DVD's and VHS's at a brick and mortar store. Purchasing is way too high.
Also when I purchase, I get only DVD's for the better quality and extras.

You're an crazy if you buy xxx dvds at a retail store. Best way is to buy at an online shop. XRentDVD.com has one of the best selection & prices I have seen.
Sorry but I do no understand the meaning of "brick and mortar"...
If you mean a "normal" video store where you can get the whole range of movies I would say about 10-20 Euro for used DVDs and about 10-50 Euro for new ones.

A 'brick and mortar' store is a real store - a physical building that you can drive to and walk inside the building, as opposed to something on-line.
I was just in a small music store, 12 stores throughout Jersee, today. They have quite a large selection of adult dvds, but they were around $29 a piece. When you think about buying online at $15- $25 average, it makes more sense to buy online.
This store is right near a porn shop, which I have never been in.

Jesse - brick and mortar is a pretty common english phrase that became more popular when people needed to differentiate between an online store and a physical-building store. Mortar is the usually white stuff that's cemented in between the bricks.

I buy my DVD's in NYC and they are priced at about $20. Some releases are cheaper and a few more expensive. Including shipping and handling, there is not much difference between online and retail store. I can get better selections online, but I get the new releases faster by buying in a retail porn store. Of course, many smaller outlets charge 2 arms and 2 legs for porn. I am much better off buying online then.
God, most DVD and VHS films are about 60 bucks here in Arizona. Only the crap no one wants are cheaper, and even then they're around $10 to $30. I'd never consider buying locally.
Locally here they run from $30 to $50 in the stores, needless to say I have done all of my adult purchasing online. The films in the $30 area are usually from Sunshine.

The only thing I buy locally is an occasional Evil Angel title. I can find them at 1 store for $20 quite often (not the latest releases-but not that old either). That's my one gripe about on-line stores, they keep all the EA titles high-priced-even the oldies.
Ron where in the city do you shop? I moved away several years ago and was visiting recently and all the old places I used to go to were swept out for Disneytown. Thanks
Gee, I don't feel like such a bandit anymore, we charge $39.95 for HQ new releases, and from $9.95 to $29.95 for others. Then discount by 50% any that haven't sold in 6 months.
I swear, in my local shop I see the DVDs that are the $5.55 giveaways go for $29.95. With free shipping at most places it doesn't make sense to pay their ridiculous prices. Although you do get the pleasure of staring at the large woman with the piercing through several parts of her face who seems a bit less than overjoyed to be behind the counter and thinks you're the freak
